Hello! I'm Kristi and I LOVE children's books. The stories, the illustrations and the way they light up the imagination for kids of all ages is so inspiring to me. I have fond memories of sitting with my dad listening to him read to me as a child and now I have beautiful memories reading to my own kids! I thought it would be super fun to share our favorite books with you too, so find a comfy spot and read along with me as I gather our favorites from the Big Yellow House!
If you’re wondering why I call this show the Big Yellow House, well…. There’s a story behind that! Yellow has always been my mom’s favorite color. It’s such a joyful and happy color! So growing up, we always lived in a yellow house! We made many wonderful memories in that house, and when I was small, that little house felt SO BIG to me! When I grew up and had my own kids, I knew I had to paint my house yellow too! When my kids were small and making their own BIG memories, they began calling our yellow house, where they were making lots of joyful memories, The Big Yellow House!
