Paddy has sat in the cold ice rink of Capital Hyundai for several years watching and cheering female Eastern Edge Hockey Players play the game. He shares who are some of his favorites players in the league, Kim his lovely wife, Natalie Hiscock and Lindsey Frampton. He shares what he appreciates about the leagues officiating , and the lesser of the leagues short benches. He discussing his goal tending career, his injuries. We talk about their many hours giving back to the sport, in the capacity of volunteering that both him and Kim enjoy.

Up this week a great goalie, friend and more importantly human, Maka. She discusses why she moved to Newfoundland from her native country Chile. The initial language barrier struggle she faced when learning Newfoundnies, to that of Spanish. She opens up about her injuries she has experienced during her short time playing goalie. She would not disclose any of her goalie weakness, she did share with us who she believes, has the hardest shot, and who her favorite Defensive players are. She compares T Wrecks game to that of Liz Ohle's legendary Sunday game.

Jaime Huggett's name "Huggett" is a gifted identifier of how wonderful a person she truly is, hugs Jaime. She reveals her competitive compassion for hockey, strongwoman sport and life . Her role as Manger of her son Liam's ice hockey team, how important it is to her, to have a positive impact on the young boys. How her love of sports helped overcome career and life struggles, bonding her fathers relationship further, during difficult times in their lives.

We have Elena Hannem in the Sin Bin today, she takes time from her busy schedule to talk about her hockey journey from adultescent to adulthood, how it shaped her becoming coach extraordinaire, winning her Coach of Month Award in February 2025. We discuss her officiating the game, the struggle she endured as a young female official from a male coach, how she didn't let it discourage her from continuing to live her dream of officiating. She tells all about her exciting Auditing career , how her ice skills transfer to work skills.
She opens up about the lack of available ice time for advanced skilled female hockey players over 24 years of age in our province. Leaving them picking up ice time in beer leagues so they may continue to play the game they love.

Welcome our first male guest Curtis MK who discusses his career in Security Services, how it impacts his life and ability to play hockey. We discuss him playing in net for Women's Hockey ,its impact on him and the female players. We openingly chat about the competitiveness of both female and male hockey players on the ice, when competing together.
