It's been a long, strange trip with WCW Thunder but all sometimes good, often bad things must come to an end and we've reached the end of the road with Thunder. In the aftermath of WCW Greed, new details emerge about the fate of WCW, the collapse of the Fusient Media deal, and the WWF emerging as the likely buyer. But in typical WCW fashion, Thunder trudged on as if nothing was amiss. The Cruiserweights flew around and shined like the sun would never set, the hosses hossed, The Cat and MI Smooth cut a promo within a promo, Dustin Rhodes wore big, huge buttons, and Jeff Jarrett swatted away flies. It was mid, it was cozy, it was WCW Thunder. Goodbye Thunder, we hardly knew ye. Thanks!
