We were lucky enough to meet Anja during our time in Bulgaria, and noticed quickly how much knowledge she had to offer regarding cryptocurrencies - a field in which we'd always been interested, but didn't know where to start. In Anja's own words:
The ones who want to get rich quick and get into Bitcoin without any educationThe ones who dismiss this "Bitcoin hype" and wait for group #1 to lose all their moneyThe ones who sense that Bitcoin will become really important for their financial future, and are curious to learn more before risking any money
There are three kinds of peopleYou'll be unsurprised to learn that she chooses to work with the third kind.
Joel sat down with Anja to take a quick, yet insightful dive into the world of cryptocurrencies and what the average person needs to know if they're considering dipping their toes in!

There are many routes that people take to travel the world, but a growing trend is to become a digital nomad. This usually involves digitising your current job role or branching out into an industry where you can work remotely.
We've been at Coworking Bansko in Bulgaria for a while now and have met all sorts of digital nomads. But Christin Maschmann is definitely an unusual case!
Joel sat down with her and got to know the ins and outs of the Poker world, how it helped Christin to visit different countries, some of the insane stories that came from it and some of the serious struggles she's had along the way!

Everyone dreams of the open road and being able to travel where and when they like. But for the vast majority of people, employment in a fixed location is the main reason this isn't possible.
As technology improves, new works sectors open up and traditional work environments evolve, the idea of being a 'digital nomad' is becoming a reality for more and more people around the world!
Joel sat down with Matthias from Coworking Bansko (in Bankso, Bulgaria) to find out about how he started his venture ahead of the curve and why Coworking Bansko has been so successful.

Unlike the stuffy explorers of old, Austin Vince realised the previous century of British ‘exploring’ was rather self-centred. He hopped on his motorcycle in 1995 with some friends and circumnavigated the world himself to learn from his fellow man - becoming the first Westerners to cross the recently-collapsed Soviet Union in the process!
Ever since, Austin has embodied the classic British exploratory spirit - encouraging the next generation to look past apparent borders and differences through his Adventure Travel Film Festival.
Here he tells Joel about how the UK, and beyond, truly is a melting pot of cultures... As well as some of the incredible surprises he came across along the way!! -
Most of us have a hobby we'd happily swap our day jobs for but, as we all know, it's not quite that simple. Andre from Bucharest Romania, better known by his social media handle Abubus World, managed to turn his passion for photography while on the move into a fully fledged career and wants to now help support others chasing this dream.
In this episode Andre covers how he got into photography, developed this hobby and eventually formed a career out of it.

Travelling these days is fairly straight forward (well, Pre-COVID at least): You search for flights online, book some accommodation and receive instant confirmation. Then as long as you have your passport and phone things will probably work out pretty well.
But how was it done before apps and the internet made everything 'instant'?
Getting your mail forwarded to the next city and hoping you arrive in time?
Writing articles on a typewriter in a tent!?
We spoke to the ever fascinating Rosemary & Pork Belly about how they started their adventures - back in a time before the safety and predictability we take for granted these days! -
"Most travel narratives are written by superb travellers: people who crave adventure, laugh in the face of danger, and rapidly integrate into foreign cultures... But what about someone who is paranoid about traveler’s diarrhoea, incapable of speaking a foreign tongue, and hates not only flying but driving, cycling, motor-biking, and sometimes walking in the full sun..."
Based on this description we weren't sure if the Global Convoy and Jeremy Hance would have that much to discuss in an interview. But we were quickly proved wrong as Jeremy's openness and honesty regarding his struggles, mental challenges and fascinating line of work drew some surprising parallels between our own adventures, the average person's travels and Jeremy's own journeys through life.

Driving a loop of Planet Earth is pretty tough. Doing that loop in crappy cars on the verge of breaking down is much tougher. But we think we've found a method of transport which wins the award for both toughness and just being ridiculous in general!
Ed Pratt set out to unicycle the entire world when he was 18, and here's what happened... -
Chances are high, you've already heard enough about how your government is handling COVID-19 (we feel the same way!) but it's interesting to consider how it's affected different countries and cultures.
From governmental policies to the geography of a region, the reactions and results around the world have been vastly different, so we asked our community if anyone would be willing to share their viewpoint and some information about how COVID has affected their country and their lives within it!
This episode covers Kyrgyzstan, India, Portugal, Iraq & Berlin! -
Welcome to the podcast... we're new here!
As with all our endeavours our plan is simply to jump into it and learn/improve as we go! So I guess you could call this our 'Pilot' episode.
We kick things off with a conversation we had, all the way back at the beginning of 2019, with @PoorAndInDanger, a digital nomad who's made a name for herself by ignoring the typical form of influencer travelling - 5* hotels, beaches, etc. - and set off alone with $200 dollars in her pocket just to see what she could do!
