2025 came around quick and the fellas want to go over their goals for the year of running.
They joined in the Gold Coast Run Co annual NYE 25x400m and surprised themselves. It was hot and fast, but very rewarding.
The boys discuss how they got out the door over the holiday period and agree that they are still full from Christmas lunch.

On the third episode of the training series, Matt and Chris sit down with Australian sports nutritionist Jessica Rothwell.
Currently, Jessica Rothwell serves as the National High Performance Nutrition Lead for Athletics Australia, a role in which she has made substantial contributions to the success of Australian athletes. Jessica has worked at the highest level, including the 2019 World Athletics Championships, the 2022 World Athletics Championships, Commonwealth Games and the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Her expertise is also pivotal at the Victorian Institute of Sport, where she supports athletes from the Athletics program.
Jess covers a few myths surrounding how to fuel in and around training and the importance of getting carbohydrates in before any type of run.

Four time Olympian..
The fellas worked out early on that 4 time Olympian sounds pretty good..
Matt, Jordan and Chris were extremely lucky to sit down and chat with Gen Gregson on the second episode of the Training Series.
They cover Gen's early running career, her massive 2016, heartbreak in Tokyo, motherhood and the most recent Paris Olympics.
Gen is a real competitor and has the power to manifest huge changes in her life. Turning a negative (injury) into a positive (having Archer) it was to chat with such a well rounded athlete.

Jordan is in the sub 16min 5Km club - a very elusive time for a very quick guy.
The fellas discuss Jordan's recent 5Km PB and the times that he has been ticking off over the last month.
Chris has had quite enough of training by himself and looking forward to a few sessions together.
While Matt hits a massive marathon session, heads to Sydney (Steak and Kidney) and is now sidelined with a tiny injury. *fingers crossed for some good news*
