Hello to all of you lovely listeners out there.
From June 1st 2025, the Haunted UK Podcast will be making a few changes to how you can help support the show. In the past, Patreon would have been the goto option for so many, but after a series of incredibly damaging charges issued by companies such as Apple…mentioning no names…we decided to take a step back and have a think about how we could offer you, our fantastic listeners, the best possible alternative to those unnecessary charges.
So, from the date already mentioned, the Haunted UK Podcast will not only be on Patreon, but we’ll also now be on Kofi…and the price you see for the tier…is the price you’ll pay…no charges…nothing hidden…no more, no less.
Our three tiers will also be shrunk down to just two – SPOOKED @ £3.00 per month, our dip your toe in the water kinda tier – and POSSESSED @ just £7.00 per month, our top of the line tier. We’ve also decided to stop releasing our series Movie Haunts, simply because it just didn’t seem to be popular to the wider audience.
Another alteration will be to our series Talk Haunts, our interview-based spin off. We’re not completely phasing it out, but we are going to pick and choose the times when we release these types of episodes…so that could be once every 3 months…or maybe every 6 months.
With the time that we’ll have clawed back from not doing these episodes, we’ll be much more focused on doing what we feel we do best…releasing episodes about ghosts, hauntings, poltergeists…the paranormal…the supernatural…the unknown…the unexplained…and of course…your listeners’ stories.
These episodes will form the basis of our two tiers…more great content, but the type of content that we all know and love. And as with Patreon, if you love the community side of being a tier member, and that’s what might be holding you back from joining Kofi or swapping from Patreon to Kofi…then don’t worry…we’ve got you covered.
We now have our Discord Server so, you can chat, message, video or voice call. You’ll have automatic access to this when you sign up to either tier…but this server will also be available to existing and new Patreon members…we want to keep this community as connected and together as humanly possible.
And to make our entire back catalogue more accessible to you on ko-fi, you’ll also be given access to a cloud-based drive, where you’ll find every single one of our episodes, all organised into easy to navigate folders.

Many of us go through life with little or no interaction with the paranormal, whilst others seem like beacons, who cannot help but attract activity. ‘Mum and Dad met at the Bakehouse on Baldwin Street in Bargoed in 1965 soon after she left school. They dated for three years and married at the Cardiff Register Office in April 1969. After they were married, Mum and dad didn't get a place of their own, they continued to live at Gladstone Villa with my grandparents. Mum told me that nothing paranormal occurred until after I was born in 1969, and that the activity … started in the attic …’

So, grab a hot chocolate, maybe a tea, pull up a chair … because this is Haunted UK Podcast’s Talk Haunts– Defining Ghosts with Loyd Auerbach who is, of course, a world-renowned parapsychologist – known to many as ‘Professor Paranormal’ – with forty-five years of experience investigating the paranormal and over forty years teaching courses in parapsychology.
He is the director of the Office of Paranormal Investigations, president of the Forever Family Foundation and president of the Board of Directors of the Rhine Research Center where he teaches online parapsychology courses. Loyd is also a prolific author and co-author of many titles such as A Paranormal Casebook, ESP Wars: East & West and Psychic Dreaming – alongside many other notable works including fiction.
He can be regularly seen on episodes of The UnXplained, Surviving Death on Netflix as well as a number of other shows on various platforms.
Join Steve and Marie as they chat with Loyd about his incredible career, what parapsychology involves and how we can define ghosts – as well as many of his ‘ghostbusting’ experiences. This was such an illuminating chat – which may just make you see the world a little differently!

Amelia lay awake for what seemed like hours, and with her windows closed but the shutters open, she decided to gaze out her window and admire the beautiful moonlit countryside. Amelia's bedroom window gave her an ideal view of the large lawn and the border of trees, which stood between Coglin Grange and the old graveyard; as her eyes scanned the silhouettes and shapes cast by the moonlight, she noticed that two small bright lights had now appeared in the treeline. These lights were moving through the trees and steadily towards the lawn … but what were they? ... Eye shine from an animal? ... Possibly a fox? … Amelia doubted it, as the lights appeared to be too high off the ground to be any animal …
