Vehicles have a costly effect on the environment, and research shows that cars are only in motion for 4% of the day – but what are the alternatives? How can we make public transport more reliable? What would a future where we don’t need to own a car look like?
Host Rich Williams is joined by Greg Marsden, Professor of Transport Governance, Dr Ian Philips, Senior Research Fellow exploring sustainable and equitable transport, and Jillian Anable, Professor of Transport and Energy at the Institute of Transport Studies.
