Sarah is a lifelong seeker driven by a deep curiosity about the subtle forces that shape our lives.
Her journey into contemplative practices began over 30 years ago when, after a stint in the Army working with soldiers with post-traumatic stress, she embarked on a nine-month bicycle trip.
Her insatiable curiosity led her to trace the footsteps of mystics, sages, and seekers who shaped the world's spiritual and philosophical traditions. From the ancient oracles of Delphi to the whirling dervishes of Konya, from the wisdom keepers that whispered Vedic knowledge along the Silk Route, her quest for the hidden truths and timeless teachings.
When she returned, she began to realize that the greatest adventure wasnât across distant landsâbut within. Thatâs when she adopted a daily practice of meditation.
Since, Sarah immersed herself in the worldâs wisdom traditions, living as a Zen Buddhist in a monastic training center, and as a resident in an Ayurvedic Mind/Body Health center, and living in a traditional ashram in India. She was mentored by Deepak Chopra for nearly a decade, serving as the program director for his mind/body health center, and later went on to serve as the director for Byron Katieâs School for The Work.

Both are dynamic, volunteer-led initiatives rooted in care and compassion, connection and collaboration and experienced through co-creating compassionate community gatherings, engaging in citizen, business, charity and governance action to raise awareness of mindfulness practices for conscious health and vibrant well-being.
Sue was a nurse with over four decades of nursing experience in clinical care, management, research and health education. She holds many voluntary roles in community, locally, she is a member of The Lieutenancy Commonwealth Group and non-executive director of Positively Empowered Kids CIC. Nationally, as well as a member of the Welfare and Wellbeing Advisory Group for The Queens Nursing Institute of Scotland.
Internationally she is a co-founder of Living Cities Earth, co-director of Feast for the Soul and an Ambassador for The Charter for Compassion.

After a degree in engineering (as a sponsored employee of a large aerospace group), John worked for an overseas aid charity (Nepal and Ghana), an Internet Start-Up an electronics multinational for 2 years in the USA.

Painting is my Spirit practice. It is a way of tapping into a world that is invisible, interconnected and vibrantly alive. Painting is a portal to experiencing that we, too, are part of Creation. My lifelong work and passion is in synthesising creativity, spirituality and embodied emotional intelligence as an oracular path. I originally trained in painting at Sydney College of the Arts - in Australia, the country of my birth. Whilst at art school I had a breakdown which guided the next decades of my life culminating in a move to London in 1985, and training as a somatic psychotherapist at the Chiron Centre for Body Psychotherapy. This was a radical and life changing 5-year training in embodied psychotherapy. As well as an intensive hands-on practitioner training I entered into a long term psychoanalytic therapy.As a psychotherapist I have worked in a psychiatric hospital running art therapy groups, also as a 12 step addiction counsellor using art-making with clients with eating disorders and other addictions. I have worked at London Lighthouse, a radical hospice for people with HIV and AIDS, alongside various healing projects where I have used Visual Medicine with women who have experience of the criminal justice system and those with mental health issues stemming from the pernicious effects of patriarchy on our collective nervous system.
