  • Goalscorer Dejan Kulusevski and goalkeeper Fraser Forster rescued an important point away to Rangers in the Europa League.

In what was always going to be a passionate all-British cup tie, plus the added element of former Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou returning to Glasgow, we had to survive some difficult spells in a raucous Ibrox Stadium.

After a goalless first half, the home side edged ahead shortly after the interval through Hamza Igamane but we weathered the storm to level it up in the 75th minute courtesy of an excellent team goal finished by the bang in-form Sweden international who was introduced at the break.

Rangers went closest to a winner in the closing stages through Cyriel Dessers but ex-Celtic man Forster - who was booed throughout the contest - produced the save of the night to see us come away with a point.

First up, it's a trip north of the border to face Scottish side Rangers in the Europa League as Ange Postecoglou returns to Ibrox Stadium for the first time since leaving their Glasgow rivals Celtic. Should add some extra spice to proceedings!

Then it's a quick turnaround to Premier League action with a journey to the south coast against Southampton on Sunday evening.

  • A below-par performance sees it end in defeat against AFC Bournemouth.

Conceding from Dean Huijsen’s header in the 17th minute, we never really found our rhythm as the home side enjoyed the better of the contest with 21 shots, eight on target, compared to our 12 efforts and four on target, despite us having two thirds of the possession at a blustery Vitality Stadium.

Hear both Ange Postecoglou and Dejan Kulusevski reflect on a disappointing night on the south coast as Ben Haines and Clive Allen analyse the action in the studio.

  • A stoppage-time equaliser denied us victory in an entertaining but ultimately frustrating Europa League 2-2 draw with AS Roma on Thursday night.

After Heung-Min Son converted his fifth-minute penalty to open his account in Europe this season, we were pegged back when Evan N’Dicka headed home only to take a lead into the break courtesy of Brennan Johnson’s 10th goal of the season.

Both sides had plenty of chances and hit the woodwork in the second half but, just after Fraser Forster had pulled off an unreal stop to look like he had saved the three points in stoppage time, Mats Hummels struck late from close-range to see the points shared in N17.

Hear from Ange Postecoglou and goalscorer Brennan Johnson as we debrief a frenetic European night at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

  • It's gone all festive on Inside Spurs this week as our Europa League tie against AS Roma on Thursday night kicks off a packed winter schedule that sees us then host Fulham in the Premier League on Sunday.

With our Italian opponents in town, who better to speak to than Italy international Destiny Udogie as we look ahead to matchday five targeting a win to get us back on track in Europe.

Ben Haines and Clive Allen also reflect on one of our best wins in the Premier League era following that incredible team display to dispatch Manchester City 4-0 on their own turf last time out before throwing it forward to a London derby for the visit of the Cottagers at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

  • James Maddison had a 28th birthday to remember as his first-half brace set us on our way to a 4-0 victory of the ages to return to winning ways in the Premier League at Manchester City!

Pedro Porro and Brennan Johnson added to the tally in the second half to administer our second win over Pep Guardiola's side in less than a month following our home triumph in the Carabao Cup recently. It also marked the first time since 1959 that we've won at both Manchester clubs, having already beaten United 3-0 at Old Trafford, in the league during the same season.

Impressive rearguard action with Guglielmo Vicario making saves and marshalled superbly by Ben Davies and Radu Dragusin at centre-back led to our 350th Premier League clean sheet and contributed to City's biggest ever league defeat at the Etihad Stadium, marking the end of their two-year, 52-match unbeaten record at the venue. It was also their worst home league defeat since 2003.

Hear from Ange Postecoglou, birthday boy James Maddison, Dejan Kulusevski and Radu Dragusin as Ben Haines and Clive Allen reflect on an incredible night in Manchester!

  • Ipswich Town take the points on a disappointing afternoon at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Sammie Szomdics and Liam Delap netted in the first half to put the away side in a commanding position and, although we’d fought back to win our previous three league home matches after conceding first, there was no repeat this time around.

Rodrigo Bentancur halved the deficit with a bullet header in the 69th minute, but we didn’t put the Ipswich goal under enough pressure in the closing stages and they held out for their first Premier League win of the season and first in 22 years. We head into the international break 10th in the table, albeit just three points off the top four.

Hear from Ange Postecoglou and Heung-Min Son on the Review Show as Ben Haines, Rob Daly and Paul Miles reflect on a tough day in N17.

  • A frenetic and, at times, crazy game in Istanbul gave us our first taste of defeat in this season’s UEFA Europa League as we went down 3-2 at Galatasaray.

It was a mixed night for teenage striker Will Lankshear who enjoyed the highs of scoring his first senior goal for Spurs to cancel out Yunus Akgun's opener and the lows of being sent off for two bookable offences in the second half.

Victor Osimhen had earlier put his side 3-1 up with two goals inside nine minutes shortly before the break but we rode out the storm and rallied with 10 men as substitute Dominic Solanke deftly finished off a lovely team move to briefly silence an intense atmosphere in Rams Park but the equaliser eluded us.

Hear from Ange Postecoglou and Ben Davies on the Review Show as we unpack that crazy European clash.

  • Dom at the double as we come from behind to score four and claim victory over Aston Villa! 🏹

Finding ourselves a goal down at the break after Morgan Roger's opener, we hit back four minutes after the restart through Brennan Johnson before Dominic Solanke bagged a well-deserved brace in four second-half minutes to turn the clash on its head. James Maddison scored his 50th Premier League goal to put the icing on the cake with a lovely free-kick in stoppage time and cap a superb team turnaround shooting into the South Stand.

The Women's Super League also returns following the recent international break as a huge month looms for Robert Vilahamn's side, starting with a London derby against West Ham United.

  • And the Spurs go marching on in the Carabao Cup! 🙌

Leading through two superb first-half goals from Timo Werner and Pape Matar Sarr, Manchester City hit back on the stroke of half-time to set up a nervy second half in which chances went begging for both sides as substitute Richarlison squandered our best chance and Yves Bissouma produced a vital goal-line clearance to preserve our lead two minutes from time. We showed excellent determination and resolute rearguard action to hold on for an impressive victory that sends us into the quarter-finals 🏆

Hear from Ange Postecoglou, Timo Werner and Dejan Kulusevski on the Review Show as Ben Haines, Rob Daly and Paul Miles digest a memorable cup win at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

  • A frustrating afternoon against Crystal Palace ends in defeat at Selhurst Park.

After a scrappy opening to the London derby, Jean-Philippe Mateta fired the home side ahead just past the half-hour mark before a deflected strike off Brennan Johnson struck the post and James Maddison - on his 200th Premier League appearance - forced a smart save from Dean Henderson just before the break. But the equaliser continued to elude us throughout as Palace battled hard to protect their lead to pick up their first victory of the campaign.

  • Our winning run continues in the Europa League!

On a night where Brazil's Richarlison scored the only goal of the game from the penalty spot to open his account on his first start of the campaign, talented youngster Mikey Moore made his full home debut and produced a dazzling second-half performance with his display likened by James Maddison to that of Brazilian player Neymar...

The win was no more than we deserved after a dominant performance under the lights at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with a much-changed side claiming all three points to make it three wins on the spin in Europe.
