Rabbi Ariel Sadwin, a Silver Spring native, studied at the Melvin J. Berman Hebrew Academy and the Yeshiva of Greater Washington before attending Ner Yisroel in Baltimore and Mir Yeshiva in Jerusalem. He received semicha and a master’s degree from Ner Yisroel’s Kollel Avodas Levi. Since 2007, Rabbi Sadwin has served as Executive Director of Agudath Israel’s Mid-Atlantic government affairs office, representing Jewish communities in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. He is also the president of Maryland CAPE, leading a coalition of nonpublic and independent schools. Rabbi Sadwin lives in Baltimore with his wife Pessi and their seven children.

Starting out performing standup while a student at Yeshiva University, Eli Lebowicz has since become one of the names to know in the Jewish comedy world, doing shows for Jewish audiences all over North America and recently did a tour of shows in Israel this past December , and regularly performs with Elon Gold. Rebbetzin Sarah Feldbrand, an only child of Holocaust survivors, is the proud mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother of an extended family. While raising several sons and one daughter, she also managed to educate girls and women as a teacher and later a principal in various seminaries and adult education programs. Throughout this time she continued to grow
her knowledge of torah sources by never teaching the same topic for more than two years. Once her children were grown, she used any available opportunity to write and has authored over 37 books, of various genres, most of which focus on personal growth.
