This one is definitely full T-Rex... There is discussion of child abuse and torture. We start off with this episode discussing the move and how Shelly figures out that it is the perfect home for her house of torture. Then we discuss the specific "punishments" (a.k.a. torture) she used on her children, husband, and others. We also discuss how Dave Knotek is just as complicit as Shelly, but there is an extra layer of fucked up to him.

Join us in our 40th episode where Sam gives you details of the death, incorrect cause of death finding, and the fight for justice Lori "Sled Dog" Malloy. The cause of death is similar to Catrina Mowery's case from Episode 20, however, there is a huge difference. Lori's death was in Rhode Island and the officials there are willing to admit that somethings were done incorrectly and actively re-opened the case. We are hopeful that they will exhume Lori soon, so she and her family can finally see justice served.

Join us in this frustrating cold case. Katrina was 27 years old when she disappeared. Due to the domestic violence and choices she made with her husband, Richard McVeigh, she was homeless at the time of her disappearance. Katrina attempted to leave her husband by going to a shelter. However, that was short lived, as he found out where she was and created such a scene, the shelter administrators chose to discharge her.
Katrina went missing in Woonsocket, Rhode Island in 1992 and there are still no answers to her disappearance.
I'm not sure why I was blindsided in the fact that this area was a cesspool in the 80's to early 2000's... the number of sexual assaults, cold cases, and murders during that time is astounding.

In this episode, we have two shorter cases. These cases are unrelated and happened decades apart.
The first case is about Denise Renee Chance. She was an 18 year old, nursing home worker who took time out of her days off to take residents to lunch. She was taken from her home on January 7, 1985 and her remains were found on March 20, 1985. There have not been any suspects named or answers to her disappearance or death.
The second case is about Chelsea Bruck. She was a 22 year old woman who aspired to be a chef. She attended a massive Halloween bash and was never seen again. It took two years for her abductor and murderer to be caught.
