Rob Freeman was just 12 years old, when he saw the unexplainable from the roof of his parent’s house. In 2015, Rob founded CSSAA (Centre for the Scientific Study of Atmospheric Anomalies) to globally investigate and document anomalous activity. As a founding member of the Making Contact Project Team, his mission within the field of ufology, is one of scientific discovery, analysis and the rigorous pursuit to understand the UFO phenomenon.
Travelling across 14 countries, the Making Contact Project Team are utilizing highly-advanced skywatching technology, including an array of Generation 3 night, thermal and full spectrum vision cameras, and are often experiencing and recording the manifestation of unidentified flying objects and anomalous activity. in October of 1978 a UFO appeared in Clarenville, Newfoundland and stayed around for approximately two hours witnessed by several residence and a RCMP officer. When the 25-year-old Blackwood responded to the call from the group on Marine Drive, he assumed it was a simple case of the b’ys getting into the moonshine and letting their imaginations run wild. But, what Blackwood ended up seeing made him a minor celebrity and the subject of ridicule on the force, so much so that after leaving Clarenville he rarely spoke of the incident.
