Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (or Myalgic Encephalomyelitis) is sneaky. If you're a woman with a job, a household, kids, activities, or any combination of the above, raise your hand if you don't ever get tired... I'll wait...
We all get tired.
Dr. Jenny Tufenkian, ND, joins me today to help us figure out whether that tiredness is simply a signal to us that we need to treat ourselves better or whether it's CFS/ME, which is a complicated syndrome that is sometime difficult to understand.
Interestingly, we talk a little bit about long COVID in this episode as well, and the symptoms are very similar.
This episode's goal is to partner with you in your self care. Let's see if it helps you to decide what you need, how to help yourself feel more energized, and where to find help if you need it.

Relationships are all about trust - whether we're talking about work relationships, family relationships, parent/child relationships, or partner relationships.
Not only does that mean that trusting each other is important, it also means that self-trust is key. We need to be able to recognize our emotions, be present in the moment, and be truthful about what we are thinking and feeling.
How can we improve? Courtney Clifford, psychotherapist, joins me this week to share with us the power of equine assisted therapy.
Horses have such a sense of emotion and energy, and they absolutely know when we are saying one thing and doing another or when we aren't trusting ourselves to lead.
Courtney works with professional teams, couples, families, people with PTSD, and many others in her equine therapy practice.

It's a trend lately to slide money or a gift card anonymously into a diaper box or some other product in a store. Why? Let's talk about it.
Your relationship with money if often about difficultly or scarcity. That tends to come from our money stories and experiences we have in childhood.
One way to start healing that relationship is the give money away - and do it anonymously. It's not about being thanked, it's about doing something good for someone else and at the same time creating a fantastic emotional experience for yourself.
I'm giving you a few ideas in this episode! Tell me what else you come up with and how your experiences have gone when you tried this: www.bit.ly/omgspeaktome.
Here are the money episodes I referred to:
Ep. 29: How to Use Your Finances to Create the Life You Want
Ep. 30: How to Redefine Your Relationship with Money and Wealth
Ep. 71: Money Thoughts: Healing Our Judgments Around Money
Ep. 72: Money Thoughts: What is your Money Personality?
Let's dive into this popular trend and make someone's day (and yours)!

This episode is a life-changer. Amy Kemp joins Cheryl today to talk about the "should" energy we often use on ourselves. I have to... I need to... I should... These are obligation statements coming from our subconscious beliefs about what life should look like. How can we switch to, "I get to...," or "I want to..."? Amy shares a visual and a verbal method to interrupt our thought habits.
If we're not going to "should on ourselves" then how can we make decisions in life? Try Amy's triangle of key aspects of life: quality of life, paying you what you're worth, and passion and purpose. She walks us through exactly how to use these to make decisions that align with your boundaries around your goals and ambition.
And maybe my favorite part, we're expanding this discussion into thoughts and energy around money. Amy is encouraging us to allow money to flow in and out, because when we do that, the flow can grow. Cleaning up our obligation energy and thoughts around money is a powerful change.

Affirmations are one of my favorite tools for transforming your mindset and belief about various aspects of your life. But, if your brain immediately argues with you as soon as you affirm something about great success or exciting things happening, you are losing the benefit of the affirmation.
What to do? Include a "but" in the middle!
Today I'm sharing a method for creating affirmations that you actually CAN believe, get excited about, and use over and over again to start moving toward to your goals.
Make sure to listen to the full affirmation episode:

Perspective is powerful. We all look at the world through a lens of our own experiences and our own core beliefs - about how the world works, our abilities, what's possible, etc.
So, how can we change that perspective if we see that we're holding ourselves back or if we'd like to grow and change?
We can use powerful questions.
Luann Horobin, Executive & Leadership Coach, joins me today to explain what exactly powerful questions are - and why they can help us.
If you think about it, you may fall into the same trap I do sometimes in which I'm asking myself, "Why can't I do that?" or "Why doesn't this ever work?" If our brains set out to find the answers to the questions we ask (they do), then asking questions like those is just going to bring us answers about why we CAN'T.
Listen in to find out how to ask questions that help us figure out why and how we CAN.
Make sure to connect with Luann on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/luannhorobin/.

Do you get creative ideas or solve a tough problem while doing something else, like walking, showering, driving, doing the dishes, etc.? I definitely do.
Today I'm sharing with you WHY that happens (hint: your subconscious brain is occupied), and HOW to actually remember that great idea that can flit away quickly.
I like to text myself! :)
We can also throw it all the way back to episode 2 and the benefits of walking, because the two things are very much linked.

Cyndy Porter of Success Thru Style joins me today to help us figure out what a personal brand it and how to create that with style choices.
You'll hear us talk about choosing five adjectives to describe how you'd like to come across to the world - and then how to put that in practice with your clothing and accessories choices. I found this to be such a fun discussion!

If you are picking up a sport or activity for fun... for relaxation... for moving your body, and you don't necessarily want to compete at a high level, are you able to also avoid being overly pessimistic and negative when the game doesn't go so well?
I catch myself regularly being WAY too hard on myself when just playing a friendly game - and in today's episode I'm talking about golf and pickleball, for example.
What we speak about and expect is what our brains look for. So, if you are expecting not to be very good at something, your brain is going to be hard at work making sure to find you evidence that that's true!
Probably that's not what you'd ideally like to happen...
Let's talk about it.
