Tory shares her story with anxiety and how she's come to learn her triggers, what to do with them and the tools she uses to sit with anxiety instead of run away from it. She shares lessons from her childhood and how her journey has changed from shifting her perspective on seeing anxiety as a gift rather than a flaw. Although the topic is anxiety and anxiety attacks, many of these tools can be helpful for those who experience anxious moments, depression, anger, or any other high volume, dark moment, emotions.

Our first guest ever on the podcast is Nicole's husband Sean! We talk about our individual personality types and how it's helped us better understand each other in terms of our motives, behaviors and desires. We both need different things when it comes to marriage and in order to get what we want from one another, we have to first know what it is that we need.

"Why am I like this? Why do I do that?" When it comes to self reflection these questions come up a lot. We want to know why we are the way we are and sometimes it's hard to put the words together. Reading about your personality can help guide you to the words you need to address some of these questions and find the gifts within the things we sometimes see as problems.
Like the Enneagram episode, we're using the all famous personality test to help better understand who we are as individuals, so we can function, relate and express ourselves confidently in our relationships, careers and friendships. This one ended up being about the big houseplant trend, how we as yoga teachers and yoga students handle farting in a yoga class, and our BIG IDEA on a 2020 hike and yoga women's retreat in Maine!
