We open the show with everyone's reaction to the Spring Game, and to no one's surprise everyone was impressed with the play of Cam Ward. The boys are also surprised that the game wasn't as vanilla as we've seen in past years. And everyone has praise for Jacurri Brown as he hits the transfer portal after the game, even though he may have been the best of the backups.

It's Spring Game week so everyone takes a look at what they hope to see from different position groups - as Ro covers QBs and linebackers, Toast talks O-Line and safety, and Scoop wants to see the running backs and corners. Plus we try to figure out how a guy like Oregon State's Damien Martinez could fit in with the current RB room. And we're anxious to see Emory and Jacurri legitimately compete for the backup role.
Nevin Shapiro is also out of jail and the debate rages about whether or not we should extend him an invite to be on the show, and everyone falls in on different sides of the argument. Plus some props to Norchad Omier on declaring for the NBA Draft, and some feedback on the struggling UM baseball team.
And this week's wild wheel of topics goes from drunk Floridians naked in garbage cans, the ratings discrepancy between the mens and women's national title games, and hilarious audio from South Carolina head coach Dawn Staley and the Weather Channel's Stephanie Abrams. John Calipari also bows out from Kentucky (which actually saved Kentucky money), whether the PGA or LIV will have more golfers in the Top 5 of the Masters, and the curious case of the Dodger fan who caught Shohei's first home run ball.

All the boys are cooked after a crazy week, and somehow Toast managed to piss off a whole new group of college basketball fans when he disputed if Caitlyn Clark was really the GOAT of women's basketball. We open the show with Scoop back in the house, and Toast has to immediately address the Twitter feud that erupted this week between him and some Canes fans over the state of the basketball program. It's another epic Toast rant and he shuts down the narrative about him being a "casual" fan. And Scoop jokes about being on vacation last week while Toast set the world on fire.
There are also major props to the UM AAU hockey team winning the DIII National Championship! Because who would have thought we'd win a hockey title before winning a football title again? With Spring practice upon us, we're joined by David Lake from 24/7 Sports to talk all things Canes as the guys start to hit the field. David is already drinking the Cam Ward Kool-Aid even though they're not in pads yet, he's just excited with the things he's seeing early on. So how many signing days do we need? We open the show just overloaded with great topics this week, and start off with trying to figure out why we'd need another signing day when one of the two we already have is all but meaningless. But by moving up signing windows, we wonder how long until HS players begin to opt out for signing early.

Basketball and BBQ start the show this week, as we get into the Canes poor performance on the court and Ro's trip to Kansas City. Toast experimented with the show Scoop recommended, Naked Attraction, and decided to torture the rest of the show with it.
We also fall quickly back into college football as NCAA '25 starts to include more school songs and traditions, now that NIL runs the football world. And we try to figure out how to write off a PS5 as a show expense once the game comes out. Plus the CFP committee has approved the 5-plus-7 playoff format as we debate how Miami will fall in with the new setup.
With the Rock's full turn back to a heel in the WWE, we play back some of the audio of him undressing the crowd. Both Cam and Xavier are getting some national love as the guys continue to have high hopes for Xavier to have another huge season. And the new Fanatics baseball uniforms are practically see-through and the guys can't believe they got this far through production.

We are barely into the offseason and we're already getting early season rankings that have the Canes anywhere from 12 to 25 - even though we continue to end the season unranked. Even Cam is getting some Heisman buzz before he's even taken a snap in a Miami uniform.
Plus we had some shots fired on Twitter this week between Mario and Brett Bielima, where Mario had a mic drop response after Bielema tried to throw some shade. And of the five Canes that got a Combine invite, we debate which of them we think will show out the most. Sweetheart groups were released also and Miami's big offensive line made the list.
Of course we have to dive into some of the Super Bowl afterglow, and surprisingly all three OBB's really liked the halftime show. And we play back some of the sillier audio from the Nickelodeon broadcast of the game, including Spongebob and Patrick roasting the CMC fumble and Dora the Explorer explaining penalties.

As a prime example of how NIL and the portal have rendered Signing Day meaningless, we completely forgot it was upon us when it used to be a national holiday for the OBB's. Scoop also wants to know what's preventing college football from pulling the plug on NIL because of how much it's changed/ruined college football.
While collective bargaining appears to be the best way to a workable solution, we are starting to see programs play with the idea of forming unions as they are deemed university employees. And the "don't be a fan later" narrative surfaces again from a UM recruit and sets the show on its side.
Alonzo Highsmith also set social media ablaze this week with comments about the program going from a "Cat 1 to a 6" - and while everyone wants to drink the Kool-Aid, Scoop remains hesitant... but is looking for a thimble full. Miami now officially has three 5-star recruits as we roll into the off season, an accomplishment that Toast and Ro are proud of, but still have fears about Mario utilizing them on the field. And Roman wants to know what the common denominator is that keeps big-name game-changing coaches from wanting in on the Miami program.
We're all impressed at how drastically the quarterback room has evolved considering the state of the group going into the off season, and we are left wondering if there will end up being any moves made for wide receiver in the portal. We open chapter 105 of the Mario era with some laughs about Alabama fans having to suffer the week in "Gen Pop", and Scoop says they are Alabama "trust fund fans" because they've never known losing... and we joke that it was the same as being a Canes fan 20 years ago! It's a special reaction show now that the Canes have added Cam Ward to the quarterback room!! A change of grade for Toast, bringing the portal grade up to an A+ after getting the most sought after QB out there. And everyone is now feeling much better about the depth in the QB room.
