Welcome to the first episode of chapter one. Over the next few weeks we will be exploring religion through a psychedelic lens with several wonderful guests, each with a unique perspective. This episode opens with a monologue reflection by Eric on the nature of psychedelic churches.
After that you are set to enjoy a wonderful discussion with sacred mushroom church leader GV Freeman joins Eric for a deep and broad dive into the subject of spirituality through the perspectives of Advita Vedanta and Psychedelics; which are thought-provokingly similar.
GV and Eric's perspectives coalesce into a direct and detailed exploration of what an ideal spirituality can look like inside and outside of the influence of the US Government and Western vs Indigenous tradition, how church community facilitators can navigate the difficulties that come from being in the crosshairs of the expectations of many different individuals all at once, and many other topics.
