Joey started and opened up Ascend Health, in October 2023. His reason for opening his own spot was really to help all the people of NL gain better access to holistic healthcare in one place. Ascend has 3 physiotherapists, 3 occupational therapists, 3 massage therapists, 1 GP, & 1 dietitian & 1500sq/foot gym with all the toys you'd want and need in a fully stacked commercial gym. There is no place on the Avalon with this diverse staff and a more holistic approach to private health care then on 516 Topsail Road. @ascendhealthnl Tune in for a conversation about his staff, courses he'd recommend new grads & physiotherapists take. Cillian and Joey get nerdy about frozen shoulder, t-spine and debunk some of the black and white cardinal rules that are simply wrong in the exercise and strength & conditioning world.
