    Ariana talks about her custom yoke sweater based on one of hubby’s favourite sweaters. She used the CroCUS cast on (which you can view on YouTube at: http://youtu.be/--5dCKoBlr0 ) in a contrasting color yarn which made it easy to finish the hem of the sleeves and body of the sweater. The underarm is closed with a 3-needle bindoff .

    Ariana has uses her largest pair of scissors to cut the 3-stitch steek on her Top Down Icelandic Sweater with Ragga Eiriksdottir made with Lopi wool which she talked about in the last episode. Now that the steel is cut, she has to decide on ribbon or fabric and buttons to complete the cardi.

    Ariana has begun the Craftsy Class Top Down Icelandic Sweater with Ragga Eiriksdottir. This is the 4th sweater class and has stranded knitting, steeking and adding ribbon for a button band. This is the first time with Lettlopi yarn from Iceland. The yarn was purchased from Craftsy.com.

    The podcast ends in the Gallery with the big announcement that Joyce of Aussieyarning Podcast and Ariana got together and each will open their Etsy shops in 2015. Mom has brought back luxurious baby Alpaca yarn to replenish the yarn coffers from her trek to Machu Picchu, Peru. Way to go, MOM !

    Ariana is back and this time shows you a watercolour painting Rapture - Ravissement 2010 in her Gallery.

    Double Knitting is not for the faint of heart. Still lots of fun and Ariana shows you her Gadget bag and her first sock which may end up suffering from SSS - Second Sock Syndrome. The Atyria hat needs help. Double Knitting with cables, increases and decreases results in a warm hat but prompts the question: Did you follow a pattern ? Ariana might take a break to recover from double knitting before going ahead with the next project which will be double knitting with 3 yarns.

    The Crazy Lace Cardigan gets re-swatched with a new batch of vintage wool given to Ariana by fellow quilter Janet. Yep, quilters are knitters too. Can Knit to Flatter be combined with the Crazy Lace Cardigan. Stay tuned.

    Ariana adds some quilting news on the progress of her classroom testing of the patent pending quilting ruler. Are knitters also quilters ?
