In this ep I ask Arnold about being a young black christian male in today's climate, what it means to be set apart, his faith journey, dating, and the infamous "Bible app streak." THIS ONE IS FOR ALL THE PROCRASTINATORS WITH BIG DREAMS! Today’s episode has s a much more chill vibe than usual, I think my energy was low because of the gravity of the questions asked. Forget all the things you have to do, the feeling of being overwhelmed, the fear of starting and ask yourself: what if I never do it? What if I never start? What would that mean? Although throughout this episode I use my personal journey as an example of what honesty with yourself looks like and the courage it takes to follow that pull on your heart I ask you to do the same.

In today’s episode I share a part of my testimony as a former member of a greek letter organization. We compare the practices and beliefs of these organizations and compare them to our lives as Christians and the word of the Bible. All I ask is that you listen, open your bible, and take everything to God.

Crazy title I know but here we are...In today's episode I share a few stories about people who are bold about their belief in other things and how that should motivated us to be a bolder believer in Jesus. We talk a little about the Bible ban only to remind you to keep scripture on your heart where it can never be taken. Speaking of scripture we do a quick Bible study of 1 Samuel 17 (the story of David & Goliath) and practice praying scripture over ourselves.

Have you ever realized how easily admiration can morph into worship? This episode is an invitation to self-reflect on the subtle ways idolatry can sneak into our lives, nudging God aside. The journey doesn't end with a realization; it calls for a response. In our latest discussion, 'Podiums & Pedestals' we dis into the complexity of putting individuals, from family members to faith leaders, on high pedestals, and how that can effect our faith. This conversation also invites you to consider how repentance is more than mere acknowledgment of our sins; it's a commitment to realign our path with God's.
Bible verse reference: Acts 26:20

Heyyy ya'll !! I'm so excited to be posting our first video episode!! In this EP my good sis Tabitha joins me in a very real & raw conversation about building an authentic relationship with The Most High. Join us in a conversation on what that means as we share tips on how to get deeper with God. We also cover some of the craziness going on in the culture but of course the Bible is our source.

Listen in as we explore the power of friendships and the influence of the company we keep. Inspired by 1 Corinthians 15:33 "Bad company corrupts good character" and the story found in Luke 5, we reflect on the significant impact of our relationships, asking ourselves critical questions. Are we in good company? Even more importantly, are we good company for others? This episode serves as an ego check and a chance to assess our roles in our relationships.
Bible referencese:
1 Corinthians 15:33
Luke 5:17-20
Proverbs 22:24-25
Ephesians 4:9-10
Proverbs 27: 5-6 -
Listen in as we address the issue of 'weird Christians', those who love Jesus but make others uncomfortable with their overly spiritual behavior. We explore examples of this and discuss how we can better present our faith to others. The conversation focuses on the importance of pointing people towards Jesus and the Bible rather than attempting to change or convince them (thats the role of the Holy Spirit).
As a wrap up, we share Psalms 91 - a beautiful reminder of God's omnipresent protection and love. -
Today I get real about some personal experiences I've recently faced as a believer. Throughout this episode, we'll catch up, explore the power of grace in our Christian lives, and get into the the tug-of-war between the spirit and flesh. We dig into the meaning of repentance and how it extends beyond a mere apology.
Join me as I explore the comfort and promises of God found in the popular Psalm 23 in a verse by verse breakdown. Have you memorized it yet? -
In this episode, we explore the power of being still and the faithfulness it requires. Join me, your host Albertine, as we discuss the phrase 'be still' found throughout the Bible and its various meanings, such as rest, wait, and calm down. We'll examine the context of Exodus 14:14, where Moses leads the Israelites out of Egypt and learn how being still can be our protection, allowing God to fight for us.

In our first episode we will be talking about the importance of decisions and being intentional in making our decision to follow God. We get real about our imperfections but also acknowledge that God loves us despite all of them. The best time to make the choice is now, the best time to stand on it is every moment after. God bless fr.
