Lipton, PhD, stem cell biologist, bestselling author of "The Biology of Belief" and an internationally recognized leader in bridging science and spirit. Bruce was the recipient of the Goi Peace Award in 2009 and has been a guest speaker on hundreds of TV and radio shows, as well as keynote speaker for national and international conferences. His research at Stanford University’s School of Medicine between 1987 and 1992 led to discoveries that ran counter to the established scientific view that life is controlled by the genes and presaged one of today’s most important fields of study, the science of epigenetics. In this interview, we talk all about Bruce’s petri dish experiment and how he made the discovery that our environment and beliefs affect us and thereby our genes. He also talks about what role positive and negative thoughts play into the chemistry of our blood. Bruce goes into great detail describing the difference between the conscious and the subconscious minds, and what is the reason that leads some people to believe that positive thinking doesn’t actually work- and what you can do to change your thoughts to change your life. He also shares about where our subconscious programming comes from and the importance of removing yourself as a victim and stepping into your role as a creator. We also talk about how all of this applies globally and how we can utilize the knowledge of "The Biology of Belief" to create more peace in the world and overcome old paradigms of separation.
