When I first set out to create my own podcast, I had a few goals in mind: 1) expand my personal knowledge of the planet and people to be a better conduit of service, 2) curate and amplify incredible leaders and experts who are on-the-ground making a difference
across sectors, and 3) help our community evolve and transform into our highest selves. Season One definitely surpassed my expectations. Did it hit any of those hopes for you? If so, take to the comments section and let me know what you thought! I’m going to
take a little break to breathe, reflect, and consider what the next chapter will be. I welcome your thoughts and suggestions! Just remember... It’s anything but small talk. See you soon!

When it comes to the economy at large, it can be a rather daunting concept to wrap your head around, yet it controls and dictates so much of our experience, access, and well-being. There are also current economic risks and implications we need to understand so we can protect our assets (if you know what I mean) during this pandemic. If you don’t know how the economy works, you’ll definitely get worked by the economy. This week, I am thrilled to be partnering with Ray Dalio and his team to bring you his viral and iconic beginner’s breakdown of our economic structure. It’s clear, concise and some might say slightly unconventional. Use it to get your head in the game and take charge of your financial future.

Politics and government can be very complex and confusing. We examine how small, one-time actions can invoke real legislative change, why petitions don’t necessarily work on federal issues, mindfulness in politics, entrepreneurship, and more!

Author Damien Echols, one of the West Memphis Three, is a man most famous for his darkest days. After being wrongly convicted as a teenager of murdering three boys, he spent 18 years on Death Row, including 10 in solitary confinement. Amidst unfathomable strife, loss, and fear, Damien discovered ceremonial Magick with a "k" (spoiler: it's not sleight of hand or evil spells) and this punctilious practice saved his life. We explore and compare Magick's ancient history with modern eastern and western traditions, controversial symbolism, concepts of reality, and practices we can use to access new states of being. Let's lift the veil on the often misunderstood ideologies of Magick... with a "k", that is.

This week, we are pressing pause to reflect and learn how three of Simplexity’s previous guests are taking strong, heart-centered approaches to educate, process, and activate people during this time. Gloria Atanmo, CEO and travel blogger, is crafting unifying resources with a compassionate “take what you need” approach. Sexologist Shan Boodram has been candid about her exploration of colorism as a mixed-race woman, along with sharing how sex, love, and relationships play into conversations of race and activism. Singer-songwriter India Carney is using her superpower of music and art to find gratitude, dignity, and determination in a period that could easily lead to hopelessness.
We revisit moments from earlier interviews to see how they tie in to today’s climate, and of course, it wouldn’t be complete without India’s breathtaking musical performance.

Last week we began our conversation with architectural technologist Iddris Sandu, and we entered the world of using engineering and design to create operating systems in our own lives that equip us for the present and innovate for the future. Today we are continuing our dialogue on the genius frameworks behind his company’s: EthosDNA, spatialLABS and Halt, and how you can set your value and walk in your power just the same.
Part 2 of Iddris’ interview will begin with a conversation of what it means to become a self-identified architect utilizing engineering and design to create your own efficient system and internal infrastructure. Iddris will offer guidance on the 10 Principles of Design that everyone can implement into their lives ASAP, which as promised, will carry us down the best rabbit hole of conceptualizing meaningful personal growth by: identifying biases, building bridges, and thinking like a creator. No more excuses this time!
At 23, the Ghanaian-born, Compton-raised architectural technologist has designed, programmed and built critical tech for the world’s corporate giants (Google, Boeing) and top apps and services (Uber, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, and Facebook). He engineered the world’s first smartstore with the late Nipsey Hussle (rest in power), and he’s the founder and owner of spatialLABS, EthosDNA, and Halt, not to mention a rising music video director and artist.

Over Part 1 and 2 of Iddris’ interview, we’ll use hip hop to break down computer programming and vertical integration, nature to understand technology and design, and engineering hacks that we can apply to our own lives. He’ll offer predictions for the future of digitalization and advice for self- and public education, and he’ll help us ditch the excuses that hold us back. Death is the surest part of life and can sharply clarify our intent to live meaningfully, but society is often silent around such conversations, making processes like grief, finding closure, and accepting our own mortality quite complex and even frightening. The afterlife is relegated to ghost stories, near death experiences, gossip over family drama postmortem, and scrutiny over which religion, psychic, or scientific theory holds the ultimate truth. What if we’re missing the keys to life because of our refusal to accept our own death? Today’s guest, a clairvoyant medium and star of E! Network’s “Hollywood Medium with Tyler Henry”, communicates with the other side to bring healing and closure. Tyler and I discuss wisdom from the deceased and bereaved, soul contracts, ego deaths, and attaining peace and acceptance while we’re alive.
