In this episode, Reilly Beatty discusses the biggest mistakes she made when starting her sports nutrition business. One of the key mistakes she made was not understanding the importance of consistency and setting realistic goals. She shares how she initially started her practice as a part-time dietetic intern, grew her practice while working part-time at a university, but then let her business go when she took on a full-time role at UCLA.
This lack of consistency and nurturing leads resulted in her essentially starting from scratch when she wanted to restart her business. Reilly emphasizes the importance of setting up consistent and sustainable systems to allow a business to stay afloat in different stages of life.
