We caught another Breaking Bad Easter Egg! Kevin Costner!
Better Call Saul season one finale was packed with throwbacks to Breaking Bad and classic movie references and Elaine and Travis point out all of them. We wrap up the season with Elaine still hating Howard Chuck but Travis gives Howard a little slack. Elaine gives her take on the meaning of Jimmy's last line and both agree that Jimmy made the right decision. Do you agree?

Discussing Pimento, Elaine draws the parallels between Jimmy and Chuck and Charley and Terry (Marlon Brando and Rod Steiger) in On the Waterfront. Travis talks about Peter Gould's recent remarks comparing characters to the real life relationship between R. Crumb and his brother Charles. Elaine continues to hate Chuck with a passion and Travis tries to distract her from her rant with a discussion about Mike's criminal world view. Also offered up are observations on references to Billy Jack (off) and the kind of guys that wear ankle holsters.

In Better Call Saul Episode 8 Jimmy hits on a potentially huge case and Elaine and Travis debate about how this is going to change the trajectory of Jimmy's career and his transition to becoming Saul Goodman. Mike takes a significant step after talking to Stacey. Elaine hates Hamlin, hates Stacey and especially hates Chuck. Elaine gives her theory on the significance of Chucks secure billing code and Travis gives everybody, except Hamlin (of course) the benefit of the doubt.

Finally Mike's back story is revealed. Travis thinks it rocked. Elaine thinks Jonathan Banks is a shoo in for an Emmy nom, but felt the story was a little too reminiscent of a classic movie and she isn't sure she buys the explanation of what happened to Mattie. Elaine goes on a rant and lambasts Producer Mike as the Spoiler Police!

Chuck's Aliment is revealed, but is it all in his head?
Elaine and Travis debate whether Jimmy should have Chuck committed.
Jimmy takes on "Elder Law" models himself on "MatlockL and we get the first glimpse of a Saul tagline.
Mike finally leaves the parking garage and we speculate on what's coming next for Mike.
Elaine cuts Travis off when he talks about the writer of this week's episode. He was right and now she owes him an apology.
