An excerpt from The Call of Cthulhu by H.P. Lovecraft, read by Steve Parker, used with kind permission
You can hear more from Steve Parker at steveparkeraudiobooks.com and listen to the full recording of The Call of Cthulhu here. (This is the best narration online, in my opinion!) Thanks, Steve!

Today's episode is all about replenishing your energy and doing things just for yourself that delight your heart! You may need a rest, and you should have it, but be careful that you don't get stuck in a pattern of staying in your bubble. New opportunities could be waiting for you outside your comfort zone!

In this episode, the Queen of Cups has a message about love and intuition, what (or who!) you're attracting, and who should be allowed into your heart. We wrap up with some affirmations.

Here's another video episode! What do you think? There are still some weird edits in there, but I think it's better than the last one at least.
Note: I pulled the Tarot card before I started recording, and it was reversed; I'm not trying to pull anything sneaky.🤭

My video skills need work; I know! I figured I'd give it a shot. You've got to start somewhere, right? So this is an experimental video. Is it a skill that's worth developing? Maybe. I'm still on the fence about it. I would love your feedback or suggestions! There are some microphone bumps that were (mostly) removed from the audio only version - the episode published right before this one.

Welcome back! At the beginning of this episode of Tarot Magick, I talk about what's been going on during my unplanned break from the podcast. I made the mistake of recording without proper microphone settings, which I realized after the entire episode had been recorded. My apologies for the audio quality. I did my best to make it tolerable in editing.
If you just want to get to today's Tarot and oracle card reading, here are some timestamps:

Here is my awkward, bumbling, rambling attempt at a video episode. I alternate between correct and incorrect pronunciations of Marseilles (it should be mar-sei, not mar-sai), at one point I say minors when I should say majors, stumble over my words, and probably make other mistakes. But hey, at least I show you some pretty cool cards! I should note that these decks are not new; they're just new to my collection, so I wanted to introduce them before reading with them for the podcast.
I was trying to remember the name of a tarot deck that is the reason why the Lovecraft cards are so large. Here's the description from Amazon, which provides that information and more about how the cards were created:
"The illustrations of the Cthulhu Dark Arts Tarot were made by Førtifem. First entirely drawn by hand, each illustration was scanned and then colored using a computer. To ensure that the finished product honors the quality of the illustrations, as well as the greatness of the Cthulhu Mythos, they are printed on high quality paper.
The format (3.35" x 6.50") chosen for this Cthulhu Mythos-inspired tarot is much larger than the usual divinatory tarot decks, including the Tarot of Marseille. This format is close to one of the oldest tarot decks, the "Visconti-Sforza" created by the artist Bonifacio Bembo between 1428 and 1447."
Turns out I was going to say the right thing and just second guessed myself. I guess I was a little nervous. I'm not used to not being able to edit!
The Crystal Power Tarot description is not as interesting, but since I had one I felt I should include the other. So here it is:
"Featuring more than thirty stunning stones throughout the deck, every tarot card depicts a lavish artist-commissioned tarot image. The book provides interpretations for all the cards, plus the properties of their crystals and five spreads to try – from a simple card of the day to a seven-card chakra spread for healing. Each card also includes an empowerment affirmation, which provides a way for you to declare your intention and connect with the card’s crystal, thus taking action to influence your future and make your dreams a reality."

Are you happily working in a flow state, or feel like you're on a hamster wheel? Is it time to step away and step up?
My neighbors started drilling very loudly while I was recording, so near the end of this episode the audio is not great. I tried to remove the drilling sound but unfortunately I could only reduce it.
