What the fandom thought as a retelling of Scottâs Precious Little Life, we were hit with something totally different and we LOVED it! It was an alternate timeline that centered on Ramonaâs perspective and how she heals the hearts (most of them) that she broke with the seven evil exes. Different from our usual format, weâre giving you a fun but educated lecture on creating characters of color from a writing and drawing standpoint in animation. Animation is no stranger to POC-centered stories, however, more work needs to be done in order to create and improve on authentic narratives for all marginalized communities. This ever evolving discussion on representation, specifically race and culture, in animation cannot be spoken upon without the tools to start off with, so think of it as a guide! After a year-long hiatus, we have RETURNED for a third season! Yâall didnât expect such a comeback, huh? Well, for starters, weâre starting this premiere with a serious note in regards to recent cartoon and entertainment news about the merger between Warner Media and Discovery, causing the deletion of many shows and movies, including many animated shows and upcoming projects from CNâand we couldnât stay silent on this.
