  • Diren Kartal, what can I say, a man of many of words and lots of laughs and like myself really believes in the power of conversations! Diren is a personal trainer, who over the years has grown a massive online audience through hilarious training/gym videos but also through “Calling out” bullshit within the industry through quick wit and blunt content!Diren is not shy when stating his opinions on the fitness industry, male & female roles within relationships and what he wants in life! This episode is full of good craic, with a side on controversy. We also discuss how Diren flew with his Dad to Turkey after the massive earthquake earlier this year, and raised over 100,000 in 2 days and what he saw and experienced on the ground. • This week's guest is.... ME!

I have been debating doing a solo episode sometime now, but my worry was always it sounding narcissistic, a bit of a wanker to be honest but in saying that some people join this community at other different stages and may not know who I am or where I started this podcast so I thought now is a good time to give an honest insight into my life so you know who you are listening to.

With that said I couldn't think of anything worse just talking aimlessly into a mic, so I thought why not Dan Campion have, the person who makes this all possible for me, my mentor, my now good friend and owner of the podcast studio Prymal Productions and the Prymal Podcast interview me! We didn't script or practice anything at all and just let Dan host the conversation!

We chat about my career, grief, time working with MAC, podcasting and just soooo much more!

I hope you guys like it and as said in the episode here in the cancer treatment center we sent my Mam too. Home - Veritalife

Jenny allows herself to be so vulnerable and speaks to me about she survived not one but TWO brain tumors, how she had to SHOP for a brain surgeon and how that changed her outlook and life forever! She is a force to be inspired by!

  • IT FEELS SO GOOD TO BE BACK!

What feeds your soul? This is what I am constantly asking myself, since recording this episode with actor Amy De Bhrun who you may know from BBC Series Line of Duty, Vikings, Coronation Street, The Jason Bourne Movie, etc.

Amy doesn't just talk to me about her career but about what makes her tick, what feeds her soul, why she does what she does. It was such a grounding and inspiring conversation. And Amy comes with so much experience in her field it was so interesting to hear her speak about her craft in so much detail.

We get into the nitty gritty of the existence of Nepotism within both our industries, the resistance to surrender to motherhood and what it is like when you loose your identity.

Hope you guys love this episode and get in touch with all your feedback!

Mairead shares her story which honestly speaks nothing but bravery!

And, although we stood united in thanking frontline workers such as nurses, doctors, etc through the earlier stages of the Pandemic, we seem to have now had this divid in society, amongst families and friends regarding the vaccine! • In this week's episode, I am speaking with stunningly beautiful Lisa Shannon. Lisa is the queen of bridal make-up, brows, and all that is a beauty! This is like a reeling in the year's episode where we look back on how makeup has evolved in just the last ten years and the effects (positive and negitive)! It is so interesting to look back on how diverse makeup counters were to what we see daily now! We delve into what it takes to make up in the beauty industry and bridal world!

This is a real storytelling episode, with so many hilarious to shocking ones between the two of us! Lisa talks to me about working backstage at Fashion week, all the highs (including doing Kendall Jenner's make-up) to all the lows, discussing what the reality looks like of working make-up artists. Lisa shares such fun, inspiring and stories of the realities of coming from working on a counter with little or no skill to being one of the most sought-after makeup artists in the country!

  • Hello and welcome back this week! Episode 7 already in Season 2, where is the time going? This week is a difficult, yet important conversation! Nicola sadly lost her brother Keith to suicide back in 2020, having no signs of suicidal ideation, Nicola recounts the days and months leading to Keith's death and what life has been like since his passing! Nicola gives us an insight into what grieving has been like as a sibling and describing it as "you never get over it, you just get on with it"! We discuss if as a society we are going to talk more about Mental Health than people like Keith who did seek support should be able to speak about that support in their day-to-day lives with no stigma attached!

So many of us suffer from silent depression and Nicola wants to share her story to inspire them to speak up and out and seek the help they need! She so bravely tells us what sort of person Keith was and how they cherish his memory! I hope if you are listening and your struggling, understand that there is help and so I wanted not just to talk about this but for this episode to serve a better purpose to those people affected and those who want to help those affected so I teamed up with ShareJoy for this episode. You can find them on Instagram @sharejoy_ie and here's a little about them:
