  • We're continuing our study on loving enemies this week. I know this isn't easy and I applaud you for coming back today. Well done. The Bible instructs us very clearly on what to do when someone offends us, and it's not easy, but it's important for us to follow His will and guidance through it.

Jesus treated Judas so well that none of his disciples were able to detect that it was Judas who would betray him. Now, that's what I call loving your enemies, and that's our topic for this week's Bible for Busy People. Buckle up!

  • Have you ever walked into a house and it looked so much smaller from the outside than it was on the inside? I think that's how our view of God is. Sometimes we look at God through the lens of our problems and everything going on, and then all of a sudden He shows up and we're like, oh Father, you are so much bigger than I gave you credit for. Prayer and focusing on God in times of feeling overwhelmed is where we're at today... Let's go!

We find comfort for everything that comes our way, and the thing about God's prescriptions that I really love is that they never expire. His promises have an eternal shelf life. • This week we're breaking open God's medicine cabinet for the perfect remedies for our souls, and today we're talking about his prescription for loneliness. It is my heart to encourage you if you are feeling lonely, for you to know that you are not alone. If you have said yes to Jesus and invited Him into your heart, if you have said, "Lord, I believe in you. I believe you died for me and rose again, and that you wash my sins away", the Lord is with you right now. Feelings are not the only indicators. Sometimes we don't feel the presence of God, but sometimes the wind doesn't blow, but we still breathe right? Trust the Lord that He is with you. That's the first thing I want to drop into your heart today. Let's lean into what He has for us today.

Also friend, if you don't know Jesus personally yet, we would love for you to meet!Who Is Jesus? Let us introduce you!Show Notes: https://bit.ly/3XdtUVL

You might be driving or folding laundry or catching up on email. Whatever it is, I just want to invite you to pause for a moment and breathe and remember what God has done for you. Remember that the grace that we've been studying all week is for you. I just want to invite you into a moment of awe to remember that you and I are meeting with the God of the universe, the star maker, the mountain maker, the ocean maker, the YOU maker.

  • You and I are about to read one of the most powerful forgiveness stories in the Bible. In order to forgive someone, you need to give them grace, and it's not easy. I believe you're going to see yourself in today's story. You're going to either see yourself as Joseph, the one who wasn't entirely innocent, but who was wronged greatly for many years, or you are going to see yourself in his brothers, the people who did wrong, and I want you to know something... There is grace for you either way.

  • We're taking another day to spend with Rahab, a prostitute who recognized God's work in her life and was chosen for a special purpose. Despite her sinful lifestyle, Rahab was used by God in His plan for the world. She hid Israelite spies in her home in Jericho, knowing that God had given her city to the Israelites. In return, the spies promised to spare her and her family. Today is all about God's grace and mercy. Let's dig in.

Rahab's story in the Bible reminds us all about embracing our flaws, as well as embracing fully the grace that God has for us. Rahab did. Let's find out how.
