Does everything have to have a serious purpose? Is there value in exploring rabbit holes even if they end up to be completely empty at the bottom?
I tackle these questions via an absolutely RIDICULOUS personal story about one of my most recent rabbit hole explorations...I think you will find it amusing. It's okay if you are laughing at me and not with me.

Why does it always seem to be perfect timing when we reach out and check on people...or when people reach out and check on us?
It's because all of us are ALWAYS in the midst of battles, issues , and challenges that nobody knows anything about.
I tell a story about a recent somewhat humorous check-in that happened to me during a one of my epic car naps and then challenge YOU to grab your phone and check in on some of your friends as soon as you can...and that's today.

I agree!! It's all about the principles of powerful pedagogy...or what I refer to as the chord structure. That's why I have been able to successfully deliver the Teach Like a Pirate program to groups of educators who are completely outside of my subject matter expertise and who teach any age of student from pre-k to adult learner.
