On the Episode 26, part 2 (yes, I throw out number 25 multiple times on the episode but just ignore it as a little human flaw, a beautiful imperfection left behind :-P ) I speak to an incredible cosmic brother and a beautiful human, Jacques Pierre Cole aka JPC aka Rogue Zen Bon Monk. He is tuning in from San Diego, California.
In his early years, JPC was diagnosed with bi-polar depression. He struggled for many years trying to find his place in this world even trying to commit suicide nearly 20 times throughout those years. Fortunately, his curiosity of why we exist guided him down a life-long journey of wonder and self-discovery.
Before doing what he does today, he has served in the Navy, National Guard, protected people as a police officer, built non-profits to service those who struggle, and now he teaches and mentors others to find their authentic purpose and embrace their reason for being. He has travelled all over the world uncovering the beauty of authentic human kindness. All his years have brought about the wisdom that we are always students.
Zen Bon JPC is the CEO and Founder of the Meditation and Mindfulness Institute for Humans (MMIH). He created this Institute for people to help them in self-discovery, connect and know the feeling of genuine human kindness. When he is not teaching or writing, you can find him enjoying one of his favourite meditations drawing mandalas in the sand.
If you are ever in San Diego, keep your eyes open as you may see this Monk passing you on his longboard with his robes flapping in the wind! His favourite motto is " Celebrate Today's Day! It is the Best day! It is the Only day"
On this incredible 2-part episode we speak about JPCs journey through childhood abuse, years of being suicidal, suffering from mental illness and eventually finding his way to Joy and the tools he has used to get where he is today. Becoming a real-life Monk and a powerful Spiritual Teacher.

Malin is 25 and she was born in Stockholm in the early 90’s with a lot of energy. She was a lively young girl who loved to move in any way possible, always dancing, jumping and running around. As a teenager, her interest for movement changed from something innately joyful, to becoming strict and rigorous.
This unfolded into an awful, unhealthy lifestyle were she sadly developed anorexia at the age of 14, which controlled her life for many years.
During rehab she found Yoga, which transformed her life. From living with anxiety and stress daily, as well as all the rest of the effects of anorexia, to finding balance and harmony within herself. As she said “On the mat I get time for myself, there I can be myself with all my weaknesses and strengths.”
Even though she now has the tools that help her stay on the right track, she’s still slips back into negative thinking from time to time. Today she’s more aware of her inner demons and sees her healing process as a reason to practice self love everyday. She always tries to focus on the silver lining in her everyday life. She bravely shares her story on social media with an open and vulnerable heart.
Before she moved to Australia 3 months ago, she had been working as a professional in training and health with a strong interest in personal development. Today she works online as a Self Love & Abundance Coach with the intention to help women reach their highest potential.
Malin shared her journey through anorexia from a young age with so much openness and vulnerability, struggles with perfectionism through out her life and what helped her through to a space of peace she is in today. A beautiful share about the darkness but also moments of light and love throughout her life.

A man on a beautiful mission, not just to be covered in tattoos (which he already is) but also on a mission bigger than him, helping people work through their trauma and things limiting their shine, Jaguar Heart. He is a practitioner that works on the survival patterns and sabotaging behaviours we all have. He identifies the root cause of the event in which the person defined themselves as inadequate and works on multiple layers to see them break the chains of the past. With Jaguar we talked through his entire, intriguing journey through growing up in a pretty damn dysfunctional family, where it lead as he became a young man and how he came out of it all. His personal tools of healing. His triumphs and struggles through depression, women, drugs and rock and roll lifestyle, and stepping down from materialistic existence to become the incredible, grounded and soulful man he is today. About his powerful healing work, his soul mission on this Earth. Both of us being pretty outspoken kind of humans, we may have opened a few cans of worms and stepped on a few toes with our opinions on mental illness and other a somewhat controversial topics, but happy to do so if it opens conversation on things that truly matter. So much value in this hour and a bit, so thank you Jaguar for standing up for men that don't feel strong enough to do so for themselves. Showing how vulnerability in men and in all of us) is truly a strength, not a weakness. Walking your talk. To connect or work with Jaguar, you can find him on @purejaguar . On the episode 18 I spoke with a powerhouse of a woman from a young age, Jessica Hickman. She was born in Wales and moved to Australia in 2013.
Before Jessica arrived in Australia at the age of 23, she was a youth worker in Wales for several years running youth centres in the area for the local council. She started her volunteering career at 15 and progressed to a management position early on. After arriving to Australia and through a three-year personal ordeal with workplace bullying, she empowered herself to become a dynamic activist and advocate in the field of bullying and mental health in both work and school environments.
As the founder of Bullyology®, she delivers practical solutions for workplaces and schools, with expertise in Adult and Youth Education and Training, Corporate Management, Organisation Culture Change, Public Sector Youth Worker Support and Transformational Life Coaching.
Jessica is an in-demand speaker at business conferences, leadership workshops, charity fundraisers, corporate events and school assemblies, providing targeted keynote addresses on subjects that include workplace bullying, gender equality, corporate and school culture, mental health and more.
On this incredibly powerful episode we spoke about a tabu subject in our society, WORKPLACE BULLYING. We went through Jessicas entire personal, grueling experience with it that lasted for 3 years. An experience that left her hospital ridden and suffering from depression and PTSD. How it all affected her in life even after she left the company and the powerful ways she used to heal herself. As well as workplace bullying in our society in general and about her passion work through her company BULLYOLOGY, the challenges and triumphs through it all!!

On this incredible episode 20, I spoke to Jaci "Jax" Rogash, a self-confessed perfectionist, who over the last few years has immersed herself in personal development and stopped trying to control her life and really start to embrace each day as it comes. She used to work in the police force, but today is a personal development and empowerment coach for women who have faced adversity which still affects their life today. She helps them overcome their fears, build better relationships, stop caring about what other people think of them and create a rock-solid self-belief system. She also works with female teens around self-love and body confidence. lived with severe depression for 15 years, without anyone knowing.
With Jax we spoke about a number struggles and triumphs in her life. Least of which not being raped as a teen, severe depression lasting over 15 years of her life and even being suicidal due to it all at the time. About how everyone that knew her thought she was a super happy, outgoing, extravert who never let anything get to her. About how when she hit rock bottom in 2016 and she finally realised something in her life had to change. How she finally allowed herself to face her fears, and by doing so has completely changed as a person. About how she now embraces vulnerability and deep conversations rather than tries all she canto avoid them.
A convo full of inspiration, tears and laughter. Lifes roller coaster. What a humbling experience to have her do her very first podcast with yours truly.

On this beautiful Episode 19, in a man to woman convo (about time to have a man to "brave up" again! ;-)) I spoke to a young legend, Daniel " Dan" Wootton, the owner of Fitness Culture, a personal trainer & metabolic Nutritionist best know for serious body transformations. The key point of difference to his approach is the detailed, personal focus on each individuals journey rather than just the destination. At Fitness Culture they do this through exercise prescription, customised nutrition & lifestyle coaching such as sleep hygiene, meditation, breathing exercises & much more.
But before sharing some of our topics for today, clearing the skip from 17 to 19. The obvious ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM here. What's up with that?? ;-) Well, the incredible episode 18 with Jessica from Bullyology, that was recorded way back when was cut short at the studio by "system failure" and we haven't gotten a chance to re record yet. Fingers crossed you get to hear her story soon. So much beauty and rawness, talking about a serious issue in our society. Workplace bullying when it goes to the extreme. WATCH THIS SPACE!
I was struggling to leave an IMPERFECT gap between the episodes but then I thought...hold on. I sense a TEACHABLE moment here, a moment to pull out my favourite weapon. EXPOSURE therapy to flip my perfectionist ways the middle finger. So there it is. A gap. And I am ok with it (breathing it out...).
So, on this amazing chat with my latest vulnerability warrior, Dan, we spoke about growing up with abusive parents, and an alcoholic dad, leaving home at a young age and learning to fend for himself, men and vulnerability, openly about his personal struggles through anxiety and depression. His deep self realisations over his own healing journey and ways he has used to become the vulnerable badass of a man and beautiful human he is today.

On the EPISODE 17, Part 1, I spoke to another beautiful soulsister of mine, Katie O’Neill. A hard core partygirl turned into a spiritual healer and absolute goddess.
She is a 33 year old Sydney girl. She describes herself as a reformed party girl that still DJs and loves music more than ever since putting down drugs and alcohol 4 years ago. Way back then she went to every party, every after party and every after after party. She loved the hedonistic life of champagne and cocaine and ended up liking it all a little bit too much. And it let to over a decade long battle with those destructive demons.
Then things started to shift. Katie had a spiritual awakening 4 years ago and she saw a greater path to lead than the one she had been on. She knew she was to turn her pain into power and she dove straight into the world of healing therapies and practices.
Today she is known as a spiritual seeker, healer, DJ, Uni student, Vedic student, Meditator, yogi, India lover (7trips in 2 years). She has a guru in India who is what she had been looking for her entire life.
With Katie we spoke in a raw, candid and honest way about her life. How at a delicate age of 17 a moment in time changed the course of her entire life. She was a driver of a car in a fatal accident where 2 people died and it changed her young life forever. She slowly plummeted into a severe drug addiction, disordered eating, PTSD, depression...We spoke about the ups and the downs, relapses and triumphs and how she shifted her life by taking on a spiritual path after experiencing a powerful spiritual awakening and how that lead her to become a healer and a spiritual warrior she is today.
Such a powerful story of survival, transformation, love and compassion.

(Apologies for the a little dodgy quality in this one as I made few mistakes on recording settings this being the first done with my own equipment. There was a lot of laughter but most of that had to unfortunately be cut of, because neither of us do it quietly ;-) The most important parts are there and the message is the most important things on this one, not the "perfect" quality, so thats why I decided to release it anyway!)
On this episode we are continuing to dive deep into Alicia “Leash” Portelli, 37 and her life story. She is a Sydney born and raised wild child rockstar and a mummy of 2. A personal trainer and group fitness instructor, known for spin but also boxing and functional fitness. She led a successful retail career across many active wear brands, today being an ambassador for Lululemon. She currently teaches at Vicious Cycle as a Rhythm instructor, at Beat body for boxing and HIIT training, Urban Flow for corporate Bootcamps and also guest teaches in Brisbane at InspireCycle.
Her goal as a trainer is to touch, move and inspire people into believing they can always do more than they think they can. She wanted people to fall in love with the process, to elevate those around her by not only leading by example but encouraging others.
On this part 2 we chatted about her journey and battles through substance abuse and perfectionism. As well as sexual abuse she endured as a fragile, young girl. Sharing that was especially vulnerable for her and despite of having a raw, tearful moment during recording, she wanted you to hear her story, tears and all. Such a strong and beautiful woman!
In addition to going through those hard moments in her life, we talked about being a single mummy and overcoming divorce. Coping and healing from addictions and making something so beautiful and empowering out of it all. How she became the rockstar of a trainer and human she is today!!
To connect with Alicia, you can find her on Insta @missaliciaportelli or book a class to sweat it out through the places mentioned in her intro!

A space where she coaches aspirational badass women to escape the hopeless battle of diet fails and body hating to achieve their ideal body and uncover their empowered inner self. In this work she helps women overcome body image anxiety using NLP based mindset coaching. She gets (her words) erect nipple level passionate of her work after overcoming her own 12 year battle with depression, self harming and disordered eating. (in case you haven't met her, she is also the person who is not afraid to be a little cheeky and incorporate dirty jokes and profanities in her work either….because lets face it, coaching shouldn't be all glitter and flower crowns…).
With Boxy we talked with cheekiness and quirky sense of humour we both share, all about her powerful journey through a severe decade long stint with depression, self harm, disordered eating and perfectionism.
