  • Learning to let go has helped me shift my expectations in order to make life more manageable and in this episode, I'm sharing some decisions I've made about the future of the podcast based on my current season of life and the goals my family and I have for our future. I've referenced “seasons of life” a lot lately. What I mean is that we all have chunks of time in our lives where our focus or priorities have to shift for one reason or another. During these times, often we have to reevaluate our priorities and that also includes our current routines and schedules that we’re used to. Deciding to take a step back and changing the frequency of releasing podcast content was a really difficult decision. In a way, it feels like a failure, like I can't handle recording twice a week - but I realized that in order to practice what I preach - this is my way of putting on the brakes and taking care of myself. I hope that this resonates with you in some way and that you can find peace with making intentional decisions about your time and energy during different seasons of life.
