This week we are discussing "Speed 2: Cruise Control", which is on the Mount Rushmore of bad sequels. This one had us discussing the terrible shoe-horned plot, not knowing anything about each other after 7 months, Geiger being a lame bad guy, golf clubs being the corny decoy, having a random character from 1 in part 2, and a ton more. The fact that the end sequence cost almost as much as the budget of the original is crazy. So much screaming and nonsense in this one, but a blast to discuss.

Sequels sometimes fall flat when they are presented the challenge of trying to keep up with the original, Airplane II: The Sequel held its own. There was a lot to discuss and we did our best. For it, I chatted with the Actress Patrika Darbo, who you know from MANY things, but Days of Our Lives, Step by Step, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, just to name a few. Patrika talked about her journey from Jacksonville as a kid to moving to Milwaukee, then to Atlanta, her stepdad for the Atlanta Braves, then eventually to Hollywood. This one had us discussing a little green Imp who tricks people by offering wishes, the lack of background actors, the shoehorned plot, Kelli freakin' Maroney, if the bowling alley was an active business, and more.
The next sequel up is a movie that is the conversation whenever people discuss "Worst Sequels Ever" with "Speed 2: Cruise Control" and for it, I chatted with an actress who is a Soap star from "Days of Our Lives" who has been in everything from Different Strokes to The Burbs to Step by Step and a ton more. This week we are discussing "Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol" and this is one of the best action sequels we've ever covered but we still had a lot to discuss. This one had us discussing too many twists, Simon Pegg's terrible inventions, how Ethan Hunt would've died multiple times in this movie, the terrible security, and a ton more.

The next sequel we will discuss is "Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol". For it, I chatted with someone who wears a lot of hats on set, David Codeglia, and for this sequel, he did visual effects. David has had quite the journey and it began with his dad bringing home old film equipment for him and his twin to mess around with. We talked about his early days as a PA, filming weddings, the process of getting VFX shots approved, shooting behind the scenes for Star Trek Into the Darkness, directing "The Break Down", and a ton more. This week we are discussing "Leprechaun 4: In Space." This was a Hall pass pick by me and it also is our 6 year anniversary! This sequel I remember watching at my buddy Tom's as a 10 year old and it's still just as bad as I remember. This is a movie that was super depressing with no lovable characters and lacked of knowledge of football. This movie had a high school bully who was the bookie, the creepy school shrink, the rag-tag group of football players, and a ton more. Enjoy the big game!

This movie had so much to unpack and 17 suitcases of unmatched socks to figure out.
