While casually filming a video for a friend, Tyler captured something chilling: a strange, echoey voice that sounded eerily like children talking through a plastic tunnel slide. Just an hour earlier, Tyler saw a shadow figure and what looked like a white orb in the same part of the basement. This is a Grave Talks CLASSIC EPISODE!
Booming derricks, Jazz Age decadence, and a fortune gushing straight from the California earthâGreystone Mansion was born of 1920s oil money and built to dwarf every other residence in Beverly Hills. At 47,000 square feet of concrete, limestone, and raw ambition, the estate became the backdrop for glittering parties where Hollywood legends clinked glasses beneath crystal chandeliers. But opulence has a price, and the Doheny family soon paid in tragedy: a mysterious 1929 murder-suicide that still stains the marble halls.
Nearly a century later, guests and film crews whisper about cold spots, shadow figures, and the echo of a single gunshot reverberating through empty corridors. In this episode, author and Greystone docent Clete Keith walks us through the mansionâs turbulent history, spanning oil booms, scandal, and a lingering darkness that refuses to leave. Step past the wrought-iron gates and discover why Greystoneâs grandeur is matched only by its ghosts. This is Part Two of our conversation.

A familyâs dream of owning a lake house turns into a nightmare when they discover that theyâre not the only ones living there. At first, the family chalks up the strange occurrences to the quirks of an old houseâcreaky floors, cold drafts, and doors that donât stay shut. But soon, it becomes clear that something else is at play. Ghostly figures appear near the lake at night, cold spots materialize in the warmest parts of the house, and whispers echo through the halls. The most terrifying part? The activity seems to be centered around one member of the family as if the spirit is targeting them specifically.
This episode unpacks the terror of being haunted not just by a house but by the land itself. The family is left to wonder if the lake itself holds the key to the haunting or if something darker is trying to take control of their lives. -

This is a Grave Talks CLASSIC EPISODE!
In the 1850s, Kansas was a battlegroundânot just politically, but literallyâas pro-slavery and anti-slavery forces fought for control of the territory. At the heart of this struggle stood the Free State Hotel in Lawrence, Kansas, built in 1855 as a symbol of abolitionist resistance. It was burned to the ground the day it opened.
Colonel Shalor Eldridge rebuilt the hotel, determined to see it rise againâand some say he never truly left. The current Eldridge Hotel stands on the same site, with the original 1855 cornerstone embedded in the wall of the famously haunted Room 506.
In Part Two of our conversation with historian Dennis Sneed, we dive into the violent roots of the hotel, the eerie activity that continues to this day, and why some believe the spirit of Colonel Eldridge still checks in guests from the beyond.

The darkness holds many secrets, but in this episode, itâs the whispers that are the most terrifying. Late at night, when the house is quiet, the storyteller begins to hear faint whispersâvoices that seem to come from the walls themselves. At first, theyâre unintelligible, just background noise that could easily be mistaken for the wind. But soon, the whispers become louder, clearer, and more menacing. They call out in the dead of night, sometimes even using the storytellerâs name. The shadows in the house start to move, creeping closer as the whispers grow stronger. This haunting escalates until it feels like the very house is alive with dark energy, intent on tormenting the person living there.
Are these just echoes of past residents, or is there something darker trying to communicate through the walls? This episode explores the terrifying reality of being haunted not by ghosts but by the very fabric of the house itself. -
In this episode, Tony Brueski investigates the Paramount Theatre in Austin, TX, where ghost stories have become part of the venueâs lore. Visitors and staff share tales of cold spots, shifting objects, and a shadowy figure known to appear in the balcony. Some say these occurrences are the result of residual hauntingsâfragments of the past replaying endlessly within the theaterâs walls.
But could there be more to these experiences? Tony explores both paranormal and psychological theories, questioning whether the theaterâs storied history has created the perfect setting for ghostly encountersâor if the mysteries of the Paramount are simply part of the show. -
