  • In this episode of The Mind of George Show, we’re tackling a big one—perfectionism in entrepreneurship. I’m sharing some personal stories, including a powerful lesson I learned from a pottery class that completely shifted my perspective.

Spoiler alert: focusing on quantity over perfection can actually lead to better quality results.

We’ll dive into why iteration and progress matter so much more than getting everything perfect the first time, and how taking action (even when it’s messy) is the key to success. Plus, I’ll talk about how tapping into community support can help you break free from those perfectionist tendencies.

Tune in and learn how to:

Build resilience as a foundational skill for entrepreneurial successLet go of perfectionism to accelerate progress and executionFocus on needle-moving activities that drive real impact, not distractionsInvest in relationships and connections, as they are far more valuable than any algorithm

  • "We beat ourselves up for past decisions considering them mistakes when they actually are not or were not mistakes at all."

In this episode, I talk about something that we all deal with—when does a mistake become a lesson? Inspired by an email from Kyle Creek, we break down the importance of learning from your screw-ups and why making new ones is part of the journey.

We get into the difference between a mistake and a choice, how ego plays into our decisions, and why it's so easy to label everything as a mistake (hint: don't do that!). I also share why it’s key to celebrate your choices and flip your mistakes into chances for growth.

Stick around till the end, where I remind you to ask yourself the right questions and keep learning from every experience.

Tune in and let’s grow together to:

Turn every mistake into a lesson by choosing to learn from itBreak the cycle of repeating the same mistakes by stepping out of your comfort zone and admitting when you're wrongAsk yourself reflective questions like "What worked?", "What didn’t work?", and "What will I do differently next time?" to navigate mistakes and move forward
