Sequel to the 3-part episodes launch of season 2, the podcast releases a special version hosted by Georgina Madu where she chops it up with seven Turkey-based Nigerian and non-Nigerian students on what they think as newer and much older fans of Omah Lay, his run as a relatively new superstar and what he could fix as he goes along.Expectedly Rema, Joeboy and Fireboy were brought into the conversation by the Young Afrobeats fans with the conversation moving to Oxlade for about 3 minutes - what is and what could have been? See some Quotables from guests:"We love your music - fine! but we need to know who you are""For Fireboy, he is worst than Omah. In most of the videos I have seen, he is covering his faces with his dreads (and all)""My issue with Joeboy is (monster hit) consistency.""No, Joeboy and Omah Lay have not released any bad song"Hear them speak! Ozone joins Mazi Kaycee and Dro Ameh for this episode of The Renegade Podcast. Alex Ozone is one of the genre's first and biggest tour promoters who started out as Terry G's manager. He is behind Davido's first tour as well as facilitating, paying for tours of some of the biggest Nigerian artistes from Kizz Daniel to Olamide. For the first time ever, the tour promoter talks about everything - from starting out to the toughest, most challenging and even worse tours ever which he says has to be the tour with YQ as well as what he learnt on tour with Tekno. He says Tekno made him realise what a 'rider' is. He tells an interesting story of a manager who insisted of getting a business class plane ticket like his talent. Mazi Kaycee and Dro Ameh also addressed the Harrysong situation, following the former's social media post at the time of his depression and the eventual threat that followed after Harrysong went on to 'report' the situation to Tom Ateke and the Niger Delta frontiers. This is the best episode, yet.Listen and do drop a comment – they would be noted and discussed (if need be) in next episode: -
