Today's guest is Chris Reuland of Ouicommuniskatek
AboutI would describe myself as a multi-faceted creator with interests in languages, music, art, graphic design, health, learning, and fitness. I speak French and English as mother-tongues which includes the culture of these countries.
I am involved in several ventures which revolve around languages:
OuiCommunicate is a hybrid language school that proposes goal-oriented French learning through our learning platform. For those who wish to avoid the "luxury hobby" side of French classes, we propose a dynamic solution to pick up the language within a year. These lessons are designed specifically for native speakers of English.
Day One English is the sister company that offers the opposite: English lessons for speakers of French. This learning platform is also composed of videos and PDF support.
My third teaching venture, OuiCommuniSKATE is aimed at skateboarders wanting to learn English. Never done before probably in the History of the World, these ESL lessons use a vocabulary that is already familiar to skateboarders and expand onto the wider rules of English.
Lastly, I proofread websites that fail to express in English the exact intention as it is in French. The service I propose is to find a middle ground between the initial tone in French and the English that native speakers expect to find. Far beyond any A.I. translator-bot ! -
