Being a parent can be the greatest and the hardest thing you’ll ever do. In Navigating Parenthood, brought to you by HCF, parents and experts share their stories – the joys and stress, the advice and the insight.
In the first 3 seasons of our podcast series, we explore the most challenging periods of any parent’s life: from taking those first baby steps in season 1, Baby Steps, to staying in step with our teens in season 2, Talking to Teens, to the juggles and struggles of raising healthy happy kids in season 3, Imperfect Parents.
In season 4, Growing Great Tweens, our host Dylan Lewis chats to parents about those years between 8 and 12, when our kids are navigating the journey from childhood to teenage-hood, providing tips on how to talk to and connect with our tweens along the way.
With special guests like Pia Miranda, Susie Maroney, Robbie Buck, Meshel Laurie, Sean Szeps, Andy Saunders, and David McCormack (who you might know as the voice of Bluey’s Dad), we explore topics like identity, resilience, technology and the online universe, friendships, and more.

My name is Sarah Trott. I'm a new mama to a vivacious baby girl and this podcast is all about postpartum care for the few months following birth, the time period also known as the Fourth Trimester. My postpartum doula, Esther Gallagher, is my co-host. She’s a mother, grandmother, perinatal educator, birth and postpartum care provider. I've benefitted hugely from her support. All parents can benefit from the wisdom and support that a postpartum Doula provides. Fourth trimester care is about the practical, emotional and social support parents and baby require, and importantly, helps set the tone for the lifelong journey of parenting. This podcast provides resources for new parents and examines the socio-cultural influences on parenting.
When I first became pregnant, I had never heard of postpartum Doulas, let alone knew what they did. So much of the training and preparation that expecting parents do is focused on the birth and newborn care. Once baby is born, often the first interaction parents have with medical or child professionals, other than the first pediatrician visits, is the six-week checkup with the OB/GYN. What about caring for mama and family between the birth and the six week doctor visit? What are the strategies for taking care of the partner and the rest of the family while looking after your newborn?
Our podcasts contain expert interviews with specialists from many fields to cover topics including postpartum doula practices, prenatal care, prenatal and postnatal yoga, parenting, breastfeeding, physical recovery from birth, nutrition, newborn care, midwifery, negotiating family visitation, and many more.
First-hand experience is shared through lots of stories from both new and seasoned parents. Hear what other parents are asking and what they have done in their own lives.
We reference other podcasts, internet resources and real-life experts who can help you on your own parenting journey. Visit our site at https://fourthtrimesterpodcast.com/
We hope you have a well-resourced and enjoyable experience as new parents.

Welcome to Wabi-Sabi Well, a podcast that nourishes your mind, body and spirit. Here you’ll find movement, meditation and a little metaphysical magic.
Think of this space as your spiritual gym. Check in each week, to work those mindset muscles, energise you’re body and elevate your lens on all-that-is. Your host (and holistic personal trainer) Brieann, is here beside you, every step of the way.
Listen in on inspiring stories, gain insights and learn practical tools from the most provocative paradigm shifters, rogue researchers and Wabi-Sabi Well Warriors - brave souls who’ve made their way out of the labyrinth. Who’ve experienced post traumatic growth, turned pain into power, broken into beautiful and imperfections into assets.
Wabi-Sabi is the Japanese art of finding beauty in imperfection. It invites us to shift our focus from doing to being, from perfecting to embracing, from conflict to connection. With our dogged desires for more and chronic angst about not being or having enough, it’s the kind of life-lens that offers true relief.
So, wisdom and wellness seekers, whatever mysterious starlight guided you here, trust it was for a reason. Get ready for some big magic. Because the right kind of encouragement makes all the difference. -
