The games continues thick and fast, as Musa and Ryan reflect on the FA Cup semi-finals, which saw Chelsea and Arsenal progress to the final and highlighted potential problems within the two Manchester clubs. To listen to the rest of this episode, head to the Ringer FC Spotify feed. The NWSL was full of shocks as the top four seeds all exited the competition and Britt Eckerstrom steal the show, plus Ryan shares his love of the numerous novelty Twitter accounts that have sprung up around the tournament. The MSL was also wild, with goals, sending offs and VAR drama a plenty, much like La Liga’s final day, which saw Leganés relegated, two legends leave Villarreal and Granada seal their first ever European spot. Finally, they touch on Bielsa’s Leeds getting promoted to the Premier League, Nigel Pearson’s sacking with two games left and World Cup Winner Andre Schürrle’s retirement at the age of 29.

A preview of today's episode, where Musa and Ryan discuss the conditions surrounding the MLS's questionable return, Orlando beating Inter Miami in the opener and how the circumstances differ from the NWSL Challenge Cup. They take a question on how the NWSL compares as a league to those in Europe, as well as exploring whether the next NWSL CBA could allow USWNT players to play in Europe and recap the wild Milan v Juventus game in midweek, as well as Ralf Rangnick taking over from Stefano Pioli next season. In this bonus What If episode, Musa and Ryan take another trip through an alternate footballing universe. They speculate what happens to Liverpool if Coutinho doesn't leave for Barcelona in 2017, the FA doesn't ban women's football in the 1920s, John Terry doesn't slip in the Champions League Final penalty shootout of 2008, Bayer Leverkusen win the treble in 2002 and a certain group of players declare for Brazil over other nations. There’s a Star Wars related cameo, some more Jupp Heynckes talk and much more.

What a hectic weekend of football! Musa and Ryan begin with the dramatic final days of the Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga, including Werder Bremen's 6-1 win over Köln to book a place in the relegation playoff, Gladbach securing Champions League football, Dortmund losing 4-0 at home to Hoffenheim and Schalke's terrible run continuing. Things also heated up in La Liga over the weekend, thanks in no small part to two wonderful assists from Santi Cazorla and Karim Benzema, plus a late equaliser for Celta Vigo against Barcelona. There's a lot of praise for Rose Lavelle after Washington Spirit's 2-1 win over Chicago, a quick trip to the Premier League and FA Cup, before playing out on Steve Hiett.

There were so many goals in the midweek European fixtures, but Musa and Ryan begin with the NWSL Challenge Cup, which will be the first major league to return in the US this Saturday and the complications caused by Orlando Pride pulling out due to positive coronarvirus tests throughout the squad. Liverpool are almost there after beating Crystal Palace, Manchester United impress and there is a lotta lotta love for Atalanta. Barcelona continue to struggle, Sergio Ramos’ beard and Atletico Madrid returning to type, before a mailbag and playing out on The Pool.

In the inaugural Stadio podcast for Ringer FC, Musa and Ryan get into the first full weekend of Premier League matches in over 100 days. They open with Spurs v Manchester United, featuring a brilliant Paul Pogba, and discuss how the United midfield might look going forward. They touch on the Merseyside Derby, Brighton's victory over Arsenal, including a bad injury to Bernd Leno, and Chelsea's future following the announcement of the signing of Timo Werner. After the break they round up the weekend's Bundesliga action, Ryan shares his experience of attending the Hertha v Leverkusen game behind closed doors, problems for Barcelona in La Liga, a great win for Celta and the return of Serie A, before playing out on Patrick Cowley.

The Premier League is back from its pandemic hiatus, and it's as if - for better or for worse - it never went away. Musa and Ryan discuss a ruthless Manchester City, a reassuringly predictable Arsenal, and the obligatory controversial VAR decision. They go to Germany to congratulate Bayern Munich and Wolfsburg Frauen on title triumphs, to Spain to assess what a fully-fit João Félix can do for Atlético Madrid, and to Italy to toast Napoli's first trophy in six years, a Coppa Italia triumph over Juventus. Finally, they drool over the late stages of the UEFA Champions League, particularly when it comes to the food, and then play out with 52nd Street. Quick disclaimer, Musa had to move into his kitchen due to some construction going on outside, in case you notice a change in sound!

In this episode Musa and Ryan share a very special announcement. They also review the return of La Liga, marvel over Leo Messi and Toni Kroos, share their relief at Union Berlin's latest win and look at Bayern's march to an eighth straight Bundesliga title. They praise Marcus Rashford's political activism and criticise the double standards to which black people are held in public life, while lamenting the mistreatment of Paul Pogba and pop star Misha B. They then play out with the Ron Hardy remix of Ragtyme and Byron Stingily.

In this episode Musa and Ryan start off with some movie chat and quickly review the action in the Bundesliga, including a high-profile sacking and a high-profile transfer, before again delving into football's alternate universes with their latest "What If" podcast. Thanks to a typically brilliant set of listeners' questions, they ask themselves - among other things - what would have happened to Jose Mourinho had Porto not beaten Man Utd in 2004, if Raúl González and Ronaldo had teamed up at Atlético Madrid, if Ryan Giggs played for England, and if football clubs allowed players to be drafted and traded just like in the NBA. At the end Musa offers Ryan a lift back to the mainland on his helicopter after a fake footballing, and then - given that June is Pride Month and Black Music month, they play out with an outfit that is a celebration of both, the New York new wave duo Maxx Mann.

This Wednesday saw Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich face off in what looks to be the decisive fixture in this season’s Bundesliga title race. Musa and Ryan discuss the long-term implications of this game’s result, before looking over the other matches from the German league’s midweek programme. They briefly talk about the flagging title challenges of Leipzig and Gladbach and the rebirth of Hertha, before answering some listeners’ questions about the NWSL Challenge Cup, God and Thanos. They then play out with Obed Ngobeni & The Kurhula Sisters.

In this episode, Musa and Ryan, still in slight disbelief that the Bundesliga is actually back, assess the second weekend of games since the restart. They wonder at the rise of Kai Havertz, praise Julian Brandt and Alphonso Davies, the promising signs for Hertha and Augsburg and the worrying ones for Schalke. Also, there's a lot of Star Wars and whether or not fan noise should be used to cover up the echo of empty stadiums, before playing out with People in Control.

In this episode, Musa and Ryan - fresh from their first meet-up for coffee in two months - discuss that mythical creature of the penalty area, 'the classic number nine' and go through some all-time greats from the men's game. With a big nod to the ever-brilliant Robert Lewandowski and an unexpected emphasis on Serie A, they look at the traits of the greatest to play this position. There's talk of Batistuta, Eto'o, Van Basten, Signori and more, plus a number of The Dark Knight Rises references before they play out on Harlem Spirit.

In this episode Musa and Ryan share their confusion and happiness about the return of the Bundesliga, including the necessary lack of atmosphere. Among other things, they discuss a surprisingly sharp Dortmund against Schalke, Hertha Berlin’s promising win over Hoffenheim, a stumbling Leipzig and a ferocious Gladbach. They again assess Marco Rose’s fashion choices, they answer a couple of typically excellent questions listeners, and then play out with Suicide’s “Dream Baby Dream".
