This is a project by the International Medical Corps and ‘What to Expect’ and it aims to raise awareness and life saving donations to benefit maternal health, when and where it is needed the most. The World Health Organization estimates that around 830 women die every day as a result of preventable pregnancy related causes. 99% of all maternal deaths happen in developing countries.
