  • On our latest The Top 10 LIVE episode, hosts John Rocha and Matt Knost count down their favorite Movies set in San Francisco for the release of the new Liam Neeson movie Marlowe. Granted Marlowe isn't explicitly set in San Francisco but it seems like they are alluding to that fact so we took a little liberty with the topic but we think it applies. There are tons of incredible movies set in the city by the bay so we were excited to tackle this subject. Our thanks to all the partons that tuned in for the second LIVE show of the month. Now on to today's show!

The Top 10 guys are doing live episodes on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of every month at 12pm PST!

  • Full Metal Bracket is here again on The Top 10 with hosts John Rocha and Matt Knost. The premise of this show is that patrons from https://www.patreon.com/thetop10 submit brackets and the two hosts have to winnow down each selection until ultimately crowning a victor for whatever topic is presented that week. This is all user generated brackets so we have no idea what's in store for us each time. Plus, it can be anything they want it to be from movies, to tv, to movie theater candy. It's a free-for-all of a show with one victor left standing at the end.

Today we're discussing the Oscar movies from the 80's! Our patron Charles Clarke did a ton of research to create this bracket and it was a daunting task for us to finish. There are some incredible movies matched up here.

The range of films he has chosen to appear in and lend his voice to run the gamut of nearly every genre possible. Then there's the fact that he vacillates between art house films and blockbusters that makes for a truly unique career. • Welcome in to another week of The Top 10 with John Rocha and Matt Knost and this time we're discussing movies set in Las Vegas thanks for our patron Charles Clarke and his incredible suggestion. We jumped at the idea once Charles presented it to us because Vegas has been the setting of a ton of incredible movies and a few that may actually catch you off guard. At least it did one person on the show. Anyway, this was really fun and we'd like to thank Charles for his incredible topic and for his support of the show. • We've got the second LIVE show of the month and thanks to the release of Armageddon Time your hosts John Rocha and Matt Knost are discussing Family Centric Movies with a Dramatic Bent on The Top 10! Basically, we were looking for movies that centered around families that weren't zany comedies. So the Beethoven and Christmas Vacation's of the world don't count. We're looking for movies that may have some comedy or not but must have some drama inherent in the story. Now let's go!

The Top 10 guys are doing live episodes on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of every month at 12pm PST!

The $10 and above Top 10 patrons get early access to watch these episodes on those Thursdays, know the topics, and have their comments read in real time during the show. Just one more way they want to say thank you to the patrons for supporting the show!

  • We decided to take a look back on the past decade of movies released in October for The Top 10 this week and your hosts John Rocha and Matt Knost had some incredible movies to choose from that released in this decade. There are several years that saw 5, 6, 7 incredible films debut in theaters and others that didn't register a single possible choice. It's a wild ride when you look at the year by year comparisons which makes for a varied and interesting list and show. We hope you enjoy. Now let's get to it, shall we?

Today we're taking the 16 worst movies according to the critics from each comic company. Only one may remain. Who will climb out from the abyss of critical hell and reclaim their spot atop the contenders?

  • It's time for the latest Top 10 show with John Rocha and Matt Knost and today thanks to the release of Amsterdam, we're discussing our favorite Christian Bale movies with one exception: no batman movies! We have sung our praises for those films enough times that we felt it right to omit them from our lists that way we can give time to films you may not have seen or aren't readily discussed in these types of shows. Don't get us wrong, The Dark Knight trilogy is immaculate but we are foregoing the trio in favor of his other works that are equally impressive. We hope you enjoy and thanks for watching the show!

  • It's a slightly different Top 10 today with John Rocha and Matt Knost because our Boss Hogg patron Matthew Jasso has thrown down the gauntlet with an interesting topic idea this week. We're tasked with taking existing movies, recast them entirely with muppets but keep on human actor. It's a unique topic with every movie ever made in contention. So what movies would you re-cast with muppets? What's your criteria for making the switch? The guys each had their ideas as to what would make a great muppet movie and their lists are wildly divergent from one another. This was a lot of fun so our thanks to Matthew Jasso for the incredible idea.
