Fresh off his win in Spain at the G4D Andalucia Masters event last week, we are joined by local legend; Steven Alderson.
Spud, as he's affectionately known, is a golfer based in South Australia playing out of our home club at Willunga.
He takes us through his early years getting into golf and walks us through his big win last week in Europe and what's in store next, including a trip to Dubai & an invite to the LIV Pro-Am in Adelaide from the Premier Peter Malinauskas himself.
Steven defends his title this week on home soil at the Webex Players Series event at Willunga as well as hosting an all abilities golf clinic this Friday at the club.
We share plenty of laughs and fun with Spud through this episode and we really appreciate him making time for us amongst all his other media commitments!!

Former Cronulla Sharks Premiership player, NSW Origin representative, Australian Test player, Triple M commentator, brilliant golfer and legend of a bloke; Wade Graham.
Wade is an NRL legend, and he takes us through his stellar Rugby League career including his early years at Penrith to being a key member of the 2016 Cronulla premiership side that won the clubs first ever comp.
We chat NSW Origin, World Cups and current day footy, as well as Wade's current role on Triple M & his work with the Sharks.

This week we are joined on The Watering Hole by Clint Newton. Clint is a former NRL player with the Newcastle Knights, Melbourne Storm & Penrith Panthers as well as a stint in the UK with Super League outfit Hull KR. These days he is the current CEO of the Rugby League Players Association.
Clint is the son of legendary former pro golfer; Jack Newton and he takes us through growing up around golf and sporting legends as well as some amazing tales of resilience and determination following Jack's accident. Lessons that served Clint well in his career in the NRL.
There are some great stories from his days with the Knights and his baptism of fire as he navigated the players through Covid times.
Clint shares his views on the current state of World & Australian Golf and shares some old stories from his Dads times with Seve & Jack Nicklaus.

Another double episode week and another guest on The Watering Hole.
It's GT series race week and we were lucky enough to catch up with Triple 8 Driver; Declan Fraser.
Declan, currently behind the wheel of a Mercedes AMG, takes us through his life in Motorsport, his journey to Supercars and his hunger and drive to get back to the main game. Declan talks race week prep, fitness and the demands on being a successful race car driver. The work that gets put in not only on the track but off it, is incredible.
Declan started playing golf from a young age, and despite being completely contrasting sports, we chat about the parallels between Golf and Racing and how Declan uses skills on the track to help on the course and vice versa.
Plus we talk about what needs to happen to grow motorsport in Australia.
This was such a fun episode and a look into racing in Australia. We can't wait to have Declan on again and catch up around the Adelaide 500 for a round.
