He is also a board member of the National Treasury Management Agency in Dublin and Chairman of the Investment Committee of the Irish Sovereign Wealth Fund. He is a member of Trinity College Dublinâs Provost Council and serves as a board member for The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinsonâs Research, the Irish Arts Centre in New York City, TMRW Sports (parent of TGL - the indoor golf league). Dr. Calabria served as a senior aide to the U.S. Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs under chairs Richard Shelby and Phil Gramm. During his Senate service, he acted as the primary drafter of the Housing and Economic Recovery Act of 2008, which established a stronger regulatory framework for the government-sponsored housing enterprises. He also led the banking committeeâs response to Hurricane Katrina, as well as its work on the Shelby-Dodd Flood Insurance Reform and Modernization Act of 2008, which served as the basis for the Biggert-Waters Flood Insurance Reform Act of 2012. Prior to his Senate service, Dr. Calabria served as the deputy assistant secretary for regulatory affairs in the Office of Housing at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Hamza Lemssouguer â Hamza Lemssouguer is the Founder and Portfolio Manager of Arini. Prior to founding Arini, Mr. Lemssouguer was the Head of European High Yield Credit Trading at Credit Suisse. During his time in the role, he strengthened investment and risk management processes which allowed the team to develop a unique perspective on high profile credits and allocate risk in a nimble manner. Throughout his career he has invested and partnered with iconic companies such as Netflix, Spotify, Airbnb, HomeAway, Dollar Shave Club and Twilio, to name a few. Prior to joining TCV, Woody spent 12 years at Trident Capital, a venture capital and private equity firm.
Woody has been recognized by Forbes on its Midas List as one of the industryâs top technology investors. He earned his B.A. from Hamilton College and his M.B.A. from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
