The stories continue! Before Season 1 ended, we promised a big story to open 2017, and here is that story—the story of PWR Bagong Yugto, which was a crazy time in the company's history. Find out how PWR almost died, why this show happened, and the worst meltdown Ro ever had.

Unmasked is back after a two-week break! Ro and Abiel catch up after his trip to Bangkok, fact-check some things from the past episode, and wrap up the story of 2016. After the Classical Bryan Leo administration, PWR enters a nice partnership with AsiaPop Comic Con (RIP) and hold their first post-CBL shows (and last shows of 2016) where SANDATA had his first shot at a championship.

Here it is: the spiciest episode of the season. In arguably the biggest debacle in Philippine wrestling in 2016—and maybe the second biggest in modern history—thanks to a major lack of due diligence, the PWR roster (but not including Ro and some other wrestlers) is literally stranded in Batanes after another sponsored house show turns out to have only one-way tickets. The ensuing fallout leads to the downfall of the old regime in PWR, as well as perhaps the only match in Philippine pro wrestling that was called off and changed on the fly due to a default. It won't get any hotter than this, so tune in.

After the debacle that was Manila Madness, things got a little better for PWR—at least for the next couple of months. The company runs a poorly promoted first south show in BF Homes, where Ro has his first well-received singles match versus one of his most iconic dance partners in Chino Guinto in the first bout of their storied rivalry. The upward trend continues in that year's Wrevolution X, which involves a (literally) big local celebrity.

If you're a longtime PWR fan (or you were there), this is one of the big stories you've been waiting for. 2016 was one of, if not the worst year in company history, and the red flags were waving in the wind very early on. The first quarter of the year culminated in the infamous and legendary Manila Madness show—if you know, you know, but if you don't... just tune in to hear the whole story.

It's the first episode Ro and Abiel have recorded since the show officially premiered, so it's time for a midseason checkpoint to update everyone on what's happened since. Ro went to Singapore and trained with Grapple MAX after five years, and missed out on doing the full round of companies in the island. Abiel just got back from the US. Plus: a new fact-check segment for all the things Ro got wrong in the first six episodes.

Ro's singles career is in full swing following Dual Shock's breakup at Renaissance 2015 and a grudge match at PWR Live: iAcademy. There's one last Peter Versoza interaction at the final event of the year before Peter fully joins the Royal Flush, and Ro finds a little bit of his footing and a taste of his next singles feud at a rare early house show.
