We often think of worship as a genre of music, or maybe a time to sing together as a congregation, but what if our worship was more than a song? In this talk, Travis references the song "Heart of Worship" which pushes the boundaries of what many believe worship to be. While singing is certainly a method of worshipping our God, worship is far more. In full, worship is choosing to say yes to God and sacrifice our preferences for the Glory of His Kingdom.

Whether we believe it or not, we all have influence in certain groups of people. Sometimes its family, sometimes its our friends or coworkers, and sometimes our influence can reach well beyond our immediate reach. No matter how big or small your influence is, we all have someone listening and watching what we do.
In this episode Travis talks about how we can choose to be intentional in living a life of personal ministry. We don't have to wait until we (think) know it all, or until everyone forgets about our past life. You and I can choose to let our lives exemplify the mission of sharing and showing the gospel of Jesus. -

At Wilderness we love to partner with others to further the Kingdom of God. We believe that it is important to partner with a local church to reach others for Jesus. In this talk Travis addresses several of the ministry partners we have here at Wilderness and how we have chosen to partner with them instead of creating something new.
Some of the Ministry Partners we have include: Call 2 Recovery, AFCC Cowboy Camps, Project Ethiopia Benevolence, and Boathouse Ministries.
Please consider praying for, or supporting, these partners that are sharing the Truths of Jesus everywhere they go. -
In this episode you will hear from Mike Tuttle, a partner with Wilderness church and a ministry man himself. Mike is consistently meeting, greeting, and caring for people all over the world. Happy New Year!!
As we get into 2025 it's easy for us to be hopeful for a great year. It's easy for us to look forward to certain seasons, or career opportunities, or family growth, but what about the years past? Weren't we hopeful then too?
In this talk we will discover how we can have intentional optimism not just for this calendar year, but for the rest of our lives. Intentional Optimism isn't dependent on seasons, careers, or your emotions. We can be intentionally optimistic for what today and tomorrow holds if we choose to surrender and look to Jesus in every step. -
In this special episode you will get to hear from Paul Shafer and Shanna Garcia. Typically this time of year you will hear pastors speaking of the Christmas story out of one of the Gospel accounts, but the truth is that you can find the miracle of Christ's birth in many different books of the Bible. In this conversation between Paul and Shanna they show us how Revelation 12 again points us to the miracle birth of the Savior of the world.
We had technical difficulties when recording this talk, therefore we sincerely apologize for the difficulty to hear Shanna when she speaks. -
We have all felt Gratitude and Ingratitude. We all know the power of a heartfelt thank you, or the hurt that comes from a lack of one. This episode Travis explains the importance of gratitude and how we can all choose to not only tell people that we are thankful, but we can live a life showing gratitude.
In this talk Travis mentions sending letters to people you are thankful for. If you are wanting to send letters to people and need us to supply the cards please message us via our facebook page (Wilderness.church) or by emailing us ([email protected]) and we will send you cards. -

We've all heard of the phrase; "My cup is Spilling over." Generally that means that things are going great, that life is peachy, and theres not much wrong. But what about when life isn't peachy, when things aren't great, or when your cup is completely empty?
In this talk, Travis gives insight and context to the story of Jesus' first miracle. When our cup feels empty or when life isn't always stacking up how want, we have to remember that The Best is Yet to Come. Even if it's not on our timeline, even if it's not how we would have drawn it up, God is always faithful! - Mostrar más
