Joining me this week is Connie Boyd, who has been a leader and innovator in magic for more than 20 years, delivering award winning performances on stages in Las Vegas and across Europe and Asia. In 2016 she became a consultant, director, mentor, writer and producer of magic shows featuring female talent.
As a pandemic project, Connie created a YouTube channel called Magical Women with Connie Boyd which became the world's only resource dedicated to documenting female magicians. Connie is a contributing writer for VANISH magazine and in 2022, she was presented with a special Fellowship Award by the Academy of Magical Arts and Magic Castle in Los Angeles for her efforts to expand the parameters of the community of magicians.
