This week we go from Scotland to Israel via China and end up with the Mayor of Hull.
Breaking the link makes the national press, the ecocide bill heads to parliament
Ev sales are up and Tesla sales are down. There’s questions about why schools have to give kids meat 3 times a week and the wind wars begin. We’ve got a right wing nut with a twist and Dale’s hair is back in X-rated corner.
-
Dale goes to Europe by rail - pens an op ed on the Eurostar for the Telegraph - and the world changes radically. Britain lands a trade deal with Europe, Farage says he’ll end it - Keminoch already said that - but would an AI version be a better leader - we think it might. The RSPCA endorse fish brutality and then don’t, as another exposé empties supermarket shelves. Listener Qs and contributions on X round off another hoot..

Once again we bring news of the good deeds of the Donald. Tony Blair nearly wins right-wing nut of the week for his crazy pro fossil intervention on behalf of his petro state clients, but he’s pipped by the Tories' energy man who probably believes the Earth is flat and definitely won’t get to do that which he says he will do. We talk Dale writing for the Telegraph on Gaza and the crazy things our Government says about trade - more important than law apparently….breaking the link rears its head again as the man they call ‘Red Ed’ might need more money for his 2030 target. And if that’s not enough our listeners and X rated trolls have a bundle of good, bad and generally fun things to add.
-
This week we look at Trump’s good deeds, from Oz to Canada to China and we invite Richard Tice to come out of the closet. We open with a libel update, a heat pump story and something called Nexit. And then there’s AI and Crypto - both energy guzzlers, but what does Crypto actually do. Great listener questions and they’re at it again on X rated corner - gotta love em.
-
In this week's show, an irrational ex Labour PM joins Farage - in nonsense on net zero. The Telegraph smeared Dale again, then apologised and then donated to Gaza - all in less than a week. In the saga the score stands at 8-0. Dale finds an unlikely ally in Richard Tice, but only half so and Zero carbon homes are back on the agenda, starting with a new/old rule for new builds. Questions pour in from listeners, not least on ‘breaking the link’ and of course we have some X-rated rantings…..
-
The need for more Nuclear cops, the MAGA diet that will surely work, more pointless tariffs and a madly big cheque - on one side as we take a dive into something you might call Nexit. With the usual gaggle of listeners chipping in, not least about the last ice age.
-
Times Radio out does the Telegraph for a Daily Dale this week as we mix British Steel - energy and a nutty new right wing narrative - about Ed Milliband - with the new line from Nige and Semi, while our contributors in X rated corner make clear just how dangerous that is. We’ve got a bit of a food focus too as our right wing nut award goes to a Big Farm funded propaganda campaign against science, pesticides are found in our houses (100s of them) and banned substances are in Scottish farmed salmon - which is an actual crime. Some great questions - like how many windmills can we get for the price of Sizewell C, the answer to that might surprise you.
-
Trump’s tariff assault on the World has unexpected consequences, of course, but this one takes the biscuit. As factory farming comes under attack, for a reverse pandemic and the rise of superbugs - the public strikes back, we get an update on grass as food. Ian has a fan but it’s not what it seems. And a new direct action group start making Citizen’s arrests. Great questions around electric planes and solar panels along with more laughs in the X-rated corner. Oh and the climate crisis will destroy capitalism - not according to an eco warrior…
-
Trump versus the weathermen - hedge funds to the rescue? Tesla and the China Syndrome. California (not so) dreaming, sea water sucking, woods and trees and net zero ducking. The return of Cummings! and er what’s Bianca got to do with it….RickAAAY?
-
Musk faces market Karma while Trump pumps Tesla, and a tiny tax that could change everything. Dale has a dress code issue with government security and Ian puts on his Reform hat to explain it all. This week's right wing nut Kemi B tells big porkies about net zero in the week a new report paints the clearest picture yet. Over the pond Greenpeace face wipeout in a crazy court decision, while back home Britain’s carbon emissions hit an incredible new record. For clarity in a crazy world don’t miss this.
-
This week Dale’s looking for a job, animal poo from farms gets a new classification, lab grown food meanwhile is round the corner, the Aussies print a new house, Reform talk farm manure about energy, pylons that can cut your energy bills and a global kickback against the Musk. Chock full of sense and nonsense - with a sprinkling of X rated corner. Don’t miss it…:)
-
We got that, Dale in Tatler, Bezos in third, religious attitudes to this eco stuff, the wealth tax comes back, Drax giving us all the Vs and windmills going dark - who could want more? We got X rated corner if you do....:)
-
The “HamasGate” saga endgame approaches as the Daily Mail and Guido Fawkes fold.
We look at a new report from those eco fanatics at the CBI while the fossil fools at BP doubles down. And in its latest report The Climate Change Committee talks cars and kebabs. Dale explains why we need to ‘break the link’ in order to get our bills down - but is anyone listening….. And on X-rated corner - a bit of S&M.
-
This week we brush past the latest improbabilities that are Trump actuals and dive into food and nature. Wolves can help us cut carbon and the eye crushing of shrimps. The Telegraph appear to be Dale’s new media platform as they carry his social media posts as stories - this week Jim Radcliffe and Man Utd in the crosshairs. And then there’s the incredible study of diets using 22 pairs of identical twins…Dale’s gold jacket and No. 10 sleepovers…
-
Good news for tree huggers. Bad news for the perps of Hamasgate. Green skyscrapers, invisible killers and Trump’s exploding straws. Great audience questions give us Dale's new motor, diamond lessons and Ian gets a roasting - while X-rated corner makes some sense! What is happening...?
-
This week Dale faces fact-free allegations from the party of corruption. And we go where economists fear to tread - running the numbers on new runways and oil, and we look at the mini nukes that defy the laws of economic gravity. Some bunch of eco loons reckon we can add £57bn to our GDP with green stuff... and avoid three more Brexits with nature stuff… Most surprising of all is the sense we find in X-rated corner.... Don’t miss it.
-
One article every day for five days looks like an obsession. A mad media week ending with dawn till dusk coverage on Gaza, donations, Heathrow, big green energy projects and a middle eastern connection - a proper eclectic mix with one element in common. And the oxymoron that is Sustainable Aviation Fuel. Has Labour blown its green credentials? And X-rated corner does its thing.
-
This week - Trump’s withdrawal method, Musk’s Dr Strangelove arm, the heat pump light begins to dawn on Ed and the end of wind in the US as China’s races to zero. Plus deadly jellyfish, natures answer? a zero-carbon airline and Ecotricity’ s plant based canteen. Wrapping up with X-Rated Corner, have FGR signed Ivanka Trump……Don’t miss it.
-
We’ve got it all, US flat earthers land in Blighty, Reform want new coal mines - while climate scientists talk of weather whiplash. One side is hideously wrong. Meanwhile, is Veganuary flopping? Who says we need more roads to get to net zero and X-Rated corner gives us a fact - you couldn’t make that up..:)
-
Trump out-Trumps himself - with his imperial ambitions for Greenland, Canada and the Panama Canal… while his new his bro Musk wants to run Britain. Biz bosses earn astounding sums but can’t pay tax - while the climate crisis does untold economic harm last year. And Trump wants to ban wind - that just sounds odd. We have X-rated corner for light relief though..:)
