Shane Supple is a former professional footballer who played for Ipswich Town in the UK Championship before quitting the game aged 22 after becoming disillusioned with the culture in the game.
He returned to Ireland playing GAA with his local club St Brigids and the Dublin senior football team before returning to play with Bohemian FC 6 years later earning a call up to the Irish International Team.
We chat to him about the role of money in sport, in particular football, and how he found contentment playing local sports in Dublin without huge financial rewards.
