In this week's entertainment episode we're joined by Cassie Delaney who brings us up to date on the week's biggest and most interesting entertainment stories. We chat about the IFTAs, Taylor Swift's Matty Healy takedown, and, unfortunately, some truly gross sexism and misogyny. Light and shade, wha?

You may have heard people talking about this week's RTE Investigates documentary on the fact that many Irish people are still being forced to travel to access abortion services. The issues raised are really troubling, and it seems that many people weren't aware of the awful circumstances in which people still find themselves in around pregnancy in this country. This week I caught up with Annie Tidbury, Service Manager of the Abortion Support Network, a volunteer-run service which assists people in accessing abortion. Sadly, Ireland is still in the top two countries they hear from. We talked about why there are still barriers and what we can do to make change.

This week Esther O'Moore Donohoe and I have much to discuss after the celebs hit the desert for another Coachella weekend. We also chat about Sharon Osbourne's frankly incredible response to comments by Amanda Holden, Ryan Gosling on SNL and why it would be better if some celebs didn't have a giant platform.

This week we have loads to talk about, from Iran's attack on Israel over the weekend, to the heartbreaking loss of lives in a Sydney shopping centre and the absolute insanity of the GAA requiring women to wear skorts while playing camogie.

For some time now I’ve wanted to speak directly to someone impacted by what’s happened over the last six months in Gaza, and lately that desire intensified as I sensed myself and others becoming a little desensitised to the continued horror. Then, I was flicking through tiktok last week and I came across a post from today’s guest, Dr. Walaa AlAbssi, a dentist from Gaza who came to Ireland in September to complete a Masters degree and immediately felt she was the right person to speak to. I was so happy when she agreed to speak to me about her experience of being here, while her family are doing everything they can to survive in Gaza, and what we can do to help.

It's time to talk celebs! Cian Sullivan of Sissy That Pod and I get into Isla Fisher's interestingly timed divorce announcement, Billie Eilish's announcements, Nicola Coughlan's special edit and I have opinions about Nathan Carter's opinions about Beyonce (don't come for me Nathan Carter stans).

I know, there will be loads of you who are already huge fans but I didn't know a lot about Hannah Tyrrell ahead of leading a panel she was on for IWD this year. Once I began my research, though, I was blown away. Not only has she won a women's football All-Ireland with Dublin, she's also won the Six Nations with Ireland's Women's Rugby team. Aside from that, she's passionate about equality and mental health, all while being generous enough to share her own experience with mental illness in the hope that it might help someone else. I was so grateful that she took the time to chat to me this week in her home in Dublin so that you guys could hear from her too. I hope you enjoy.

It may be a bank holiday but you bettter believe Carl Kinsella and I got to our microphones this morning to bring you a news update. My voice was barely playing ball, but we persevered and manages to chat about Jeffrey Donaldson's resignation, the continued conversation about Israel at Eurovision and some stolen hanging baskets among other things.

This week's Friday catch-up is with pop artist Pastiche, who has had a very tricky couple of years. She shares the challenges she faced on her journey to an endometriosis diagnosis, and what it's like to be freezing her eggs at 26. I really enjoyed this conversation, and have massive respect for Pastiche's generosity with her experience. She is open to hearing from people who have had a similar experience or are on their own journey and would like to speak to someone who's been through it, so check out her Instagram here.

This week Esther O'Moore Donohoe and I chat through the raid on P Diddy's homes, the bleak revelations about what was going on behind the scenes of some of Nickelodeon's most popular programmes, and why Sasha Baron Cohen has shot himself in the foot. As always, when Esther and I get together, silliness ensues.

This week's interview is with with Mark Mehigan, author of This is Not a Self Help Book, in which he writes about his experience with alcohol and drug addiction. I read most of this book in one sitting, it is frank and honest and really well written. I was delighted too get the chance to discuss it with him, and our conversation took a few interesting turns. I think you'll enjoy it.

Emer McLysaght joins me this week to discuss the stories gifted to us by the world of showbusiness. Jedward are having absolutely none of Louis Walsh's nastiness, there are rumours about a Paul Mescal/Ayo Edebiri romance, Lindsay Lohan is BACK BABY and several other very pleasing stories for those of us who came of age in the 2000s.
Additionally, there's a live show announcement! Come and see us in the Laughter Lounge on May 9th! Tickets are on sale now. I will do my VERY best to show you a real good time, pals.

If you're in any way into electronic music, you know Saoirse. She's a DJ who's played all over the world, a producer, a record label head, and the co-founder of London's queer electronic music festival Body Movements. This weekend, she's also the headliner at Mother's Cultúr Club, a special night of live music, queer performance and art as part of St. Patrick's Festival. This week I got to chat with her about growing up in unusual circumstances in Dublin, and how she came to be who she is.
If you'd like to see Saoirse at Cultúr Club (or me, I'm doing a little panel too!), you can grab tickets here.
