Episode 144 is a solo episode talking you through my favourite and fast snacks for staying on track health wise and having enough energy to manage all of the “life tabs”.
This episode is to remind you that you matter. Please extend your mothering love to yourself. You always make sure your kids have snacks and water. You prioritise their sleep, play and meet all of their needs. It’s brilliant and loving AND that net of care needs to extend to YOU!
You CAN live off your children’s crumbs and leftovers but just because you can, doesn’t mean you should. I know I’ve definitely fallen into the habit at times of making sure the kids are sorted food wise and have full drink bottles while walking out the door with absolutely nothing for myself. Time is a precious commodity when you’re busy but SO ARE YOU 👏🏼
You are not an infinite resource of energy, especially when you’re not replenishing the stores. Being depleted is no good for anyone. Refuel and look after yourself as well. Looking after you will allow you to keep going and going ...and going as well as help with switching off when you can. Fuel up with nourishing food.
When it comes to mum and life fuel I have a few snacks that are really quick and healthy. In episode 144 of the podcast I share 10 of my extremely easy healthy go to snacks that take hardly any prep time at all. It’s not reinventing the wheel but it might spark a little fresh grocery inspo! Listen now and power through the week ahead.
