In this episode, I’m diving into how you can start to rewire those default thoughts that aren't serving you, the ones that are leaving you feeling drained or overwhelmed.
Why our minds cling to old, default thoughts and how to recognise when they’re holding you back. The first steps to identify unhelpful thought patterns without judgment or frustration. How to gently replace these thoughts with ones that serve you better using small, repeatable actions. Why repetition matters in rewiring your brain, and how to make this process feel sustainable.Practical examples of shifting mindset habits that have worked for me and others in our community.
Our minds rely on familiar thought patterns, often taking the path of least resistance to conserve energy. But what if those thoughts aren’t serving you well?
I guide you through recognising these thoughts and help you start creating new, supportive ones that will serve you better.
Your default thoughts are the ones your brain turns to automatically, with little effort. You’ve likely been thinking about them for years, whether they’re helpful or not.
Some of these thoughts can become more negative, full of comparison, judgement, or self doubt.

In this episode, I talk about the importance of everyday kindness. Not just thinking kind thoughts but actually saying them out loud.
It’s easy to get caught up in busy life, but taking a moment to share a kind word can have such a big impact.
We’re so used to hearing opinions on how we parent, but what if we flipped that and made it normal to share kindness instead?
I share a couple of personal stories from a recent trip that reminded me just how much a kind word or gesture can impact someone deeply and how those simple moments can have a ripple effect on the world around us.In this episode, you will learn:
Why normalising everyday kindness can change not only someone else’s day but yours as wellHow to move from thinking kind thoughts to actually saying them out loudSimple ways to create more meaningful connections in your daily lifeIf you loved this episode and want to go further with managing your mental load as a mum, you can follow along on Instagram at @michelle.c.weeks or check out my A Mother's Mind membership

In this episode, I’m diving into a question I hear from so many mums.
Who am I now that I’m a mum?
If you’ve ever found yourself wondering where your pre-motherhood self went, or feeling lost in this new version of you, trust me, you’re not alone.
This is a shift we all go through. The transition into motherhood impacts everything from our identity to our emotions and relationships.
I’ve been thinking a lot about this lately, and so I’m sharing some of the most impactful strategies that have helped me (and so many of the mums I work with) navigate this huge shift in identity.
In this episode, you will learn:
How you can reconnect with yourself after becoming a mum, and why it’s normal that your identity has changed. How to start creating space to check in with yourself, even if it’s just for 5 minutes each day. Your brain already knows a lot more than you think, you just need a bit of space to listen to what’s there. How to use self-awareness to understand what’s going on in your mind and figure out what you need right now.One of the most powerful strategies I use with my clients, even if you feel like you don’t have a spare second in your day.How to lean on your core values when you feel lost. Even though motherhood shifts your identity, your core values will always be there to ground you, no matter what stage of motherhood you’re in.Motherhood changes you, but it’s not about returning to who you were before. It’s about figuring out who you are now and embracing that shift, even when it feels messy or confusing.
If this resonates with you, know that it’s ok. I’ve coached so many mums through this exact transition, and I’m right there with you in my own journey too.

In this episode, I talk about the often overlooked abundance in our lives. I discuss the mindset of longing and the comparison of wanting more. It’s all about the idea that you already have what you want.
As mums, we can regularly be pulled into the whirlwind of comparison, wanting what we don't have, wishing for a different time, things to pass, the past to come again, talking about time and opportunities and life in the way of hoping and wishing for something different.
This pulls us away from enjoying and really soaking in the present moment. In this episode, you'll discover:
How you can recognise and appreciate what you already have, shifting your focus from longing to gratitude and appreciating the now.How to stop comparing your life to othersStrategies you can use to create and develop a grateful mindset that appreciates the present and what you already have. How to recognise the success and achievements you may not have appreciated yet.
I encourage you to listen and then reflect on how much you already have. Each time you feel lacking or in comparison mode, I want you to remember how you already have what you want in your life, and use that perspective shift to choose nourishment and joyful gratitude.
