Hello, positives.
I just wanted to drop in after a hiatus for two weeks.
Long story short, I got covid, took a 14 hour road trip and now I'm back.
Here is a recap for what's upcoming in season six. -
There are so man things that go into starting ones day and that is for those of us who do not have time blindness and ADD/ADHD.
I always find it easiest to prepare myself for the day in a way that eliminates stress and opportunities for distraction. This can be from the mushroom coffee and taurine I take in the morning for focus to dressing as if I were going to the office even though I work from home.
Preparation and persistence is the success to success.
-
Season six will include topics like TIME BLINDNESS, A DAY IN THE LIFE VIDEOS, AND MORE ENCOURAGEMENT.
STAY TUNED. -
Welcome to the first of many active meditation videos.
This is an active meditation meaning that you will be given 5 minutes in this video to brainstorm. brain dump, journal, think out loud and more.
The intention behind these active meditation is to provide you all with a guided audio and visual surrounding to let your brain just wander.
What you get out of the five minutes is entirely up to you. There are no wrong answers or ways to do this. If you want to treat this like a traditional mediation routine feel free to close your eyes, relax and monitor your breathes.

-
In this video I talk about some of my favorite eats for the day.
I try to focus on three essential nutrients for adhd management which are zinc, magnesium, and omega-3.
Zinc helps regulate dopamine levels and neurotransmitters.
Magnesium has been shown in studies to help retention, hyperactivity and increase focus.
Omega-3 fatty acids found in seafood and olive oils to name a few increase the efficiency of nutrients uptake.

This episode dives into a challenge I've experienced with school and classmates in a collaboration setting. Organization and structure are very beneficial to those of us who have ADHD and can cause setbacks when others don't have the same skills. There will be moments in life where you have to compromise your organization and structure skills to work with others. This will be hard, very hard but sometimes it is necessary to get something achieved. After the experience you can always turn the organization and structure switch back on to help you take control of each day the way you know how.
